Or be brave and go with two strikers:

Nacho for Ndidi.

Nacho tends to drop a bit deeper and can draw defenders to him while he can then make that killer pass to Vardy or to one of the wide men cutting in.

This is a bit shit really.

Dare I say it, but in the final third, it's a bit reminiscent of last season...too slow and not clinical enough.

I think the difference is last season we weren't facing a 8-2-0 type formation.

Agree it's been a bit slow but I don't think it's fair to compare to last season where teams weren't parking the bus against us like this.

I think there are quite a few people giving too much credit to PNE so far tonight, make no mistake, most of us knew it would be like this where we have lots of possession and PNE sit back in their own box, but PNE have barely done anything, all they are doing is waiting a week for us to aimlessly put a ball into the box and mopping it up. It takes us 30+ seconds to get the ball from the right back to the left winger, and everytime we drag them out of position we give them a month to regroup.

PNE are not playing that well, we are playing poorly, mainly in the tempo. If we continue to do what we are doing, but with a bit of urgency they will make a mistake. If we continue to play like this they will nick one. We are the problem here.

Think we need to rotate where we have overloads, right side, left side, then centre and back again, as they are allowed to be too static in their defending and our Mavididi, back to KDH, to Wilf, repeat, is not asking many questions

I know Coady is rusty, but i think he's the big reason we've struggled this half. He gave up the chance to Holmes, and he's been failing to break lines with his passes the way Vesty does.

This has a classic 0-1 feel about it. They'll score early second half and we wont be able to break them down. Frustrating.....

Bit of a nothing half against a side with zero ambition, but hey ho. Don't think we've seen enough to indicate we'll tire them out, time for some half time Enzo magic

Wonder if Preston will get tired working so hard in defence.

I think that is what Enzo is banking on.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought we made heavy weather of the first half, we seem to get into good positions in final third then we just slow up completely, breaking the momentum of the whole move ?

The couple of half decent chances we have had is when we have moved the ball at pace in the final third. Generally far too pedestrian in attack and poor movement off the ball.

We need some ideas out there. As we will face this defensive strategy lots this season. We need to have a plan B or C to unpick a 10 man defence

I do have faith that Enzo will find a way.

Again, people need to have a bit of patience.

When you play like we do, you don't look to win the game early, you look to tire the opposition to win it late. Defending like they are takes a lot physically and mentally. The more they do that, the harder it gets later on.

A bit like a UFC fighter kicking the legs of his opponent early in the fight, your not going to win by doing it but it makes it tough as the fight goes on.

As long as we don't concede first, we will win this game. If they score on the break before we do, we could be in trouble.

Possibly the poorest 45 minutes of the season so far, this is partly due to PNE being so well drilled and disciplined however got to hope we grind them down in the 2nd half. So far lacking quality and a cutting edge in the final 3rd.

They have created more than us?!?

Don't worry I see lots of early subs in the second half.

Ricky is pretty much static in midfield all the time and therefore way too easy to pick up. hamza isn’t a dynamic forward moving player either so I’m not sure how we get around this problem tonight
