Why are people bedwetting all over this thread. Trust the system. If you changed everything everything someone came to the KP and parked the bus then we wouldn't have a system!

People claiming Emzos system doesn't work really need to learn to breath.

Not saying that the system doesnt work. You are right we need to be patient but we need to be quicker and take a few more risks in their half, not our own! Hope Conor doesnt drop a clanger in defence though.

I'd much rather see us take risks. We have far more quality than PNE and if we take risks to open up the game a bit more, we may well give them opportunities, but atleast it allows the spaces to open up for us to hit them on the break. This cannot work continuing how we are. PNE won't get tired at this tempo. We've given them a free 45 mins here. If we are planning to make the ball work for us, and tire out PNE through passing it around them, we are failing miserably in that respect.

TBH the game is going exactly the way I expected it too. We will probably start ramping up the pressure at about 60 minutes.

Should we do it sooner than that? Yeah we probably should. It didn't take a genius to figure out they would play this way.

All that said, as frustrating as it is for us, this is difficult for ANY team to break down.

Must be more tiring out of possession.

Actually they are doing pretty well. They are not really pressing. They are just keeping their shape and sitting back. They are doing it pretty easy at the moment so we should not count on them tiring. Instead, we need more variety than just going to the wide men all the time.  We need to bring Nacho on for Ndidi or Justin.

Guess the response to that, as tedious as it may be, is it better to bust a gut when they are not tiring or when they are?

Feel like we need more of a holding target down the middle to link the play a bit more. Nacho on for Vardy for me.

Correct, there's things we can do better, there always is! We will come out and do that second half, no doubt.

We aren't ever going to go long or play on the counter attack with 30% possession under Enzo. People need to get used to it and understand those days are done!

100% this is always hard to break down for any teams, all we can do is continue what we are doing because we don't have the players to get on the end of crosses. Apart from taking more risks trying to play through them, all we can do is continue what we are doing but with a bit more urgency.

A game is 90 minutes look.

We have better quality in our substitutions than they have on the pitch.

Fresh legs will be the answer if we can score. It will most likely be a late goal again.

Interesting. Hadn't noticed that. Any ideas?

possibly to counter what we expected from their players ?

we’ve already seen that when Mavadidi drops wilf in that he can’t cross on his left side. Maybe we’ll change that second half

Iwan’s got it right just now on Foxes Player.

What we are seeing is what we’ve seen from City in most games this season.

This is how we play. Grind sides down who sit back and limit space.

It’s of zero surprise

Slow build up doesn't suit Jamie's game. He wants quick ball into space behind defenders.

I'm glad we're not reliant on having centre mids scoring from outside the box anymore.

But could definitely use one capable of doing so now.
