Nacho tends to drop a bit deeper and can draw defenders to him while he can then make that killer pass to Vardy or to one of the wide men cutting in. Good idea, but I don't think Preston will fall for it..they preston wont move their Zones, and allow oppo to do what they want within those considered Zones.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 Harry's been off it tonight. Can't believe I'm saying that!
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 A few misplaced passes from Winks tonight. I thought he’d make more changes from Blackburn just to rest legs. Do we look a little leggy? 1

LanguedocFox Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 Must admit, I prefer this red-button coverage: I miss the replays, but no gobshite co-commentators and no halftime garbage. That’ll do!
majaco Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 I would like to see our wingers taking on their full backs. It seems that we are set up for that

They don't just go and buy the young new sensation aside from last season with Haaland. Look at Stones, Akanji, Foden, Ake for example. All these players have immensley improved their performance and value under Pep Guardiola and his mindset of development. Other big 6 clubs have spent much more than Man City yet they haven't had an ounce of the recent success that Man City has. 2
Simonb Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 Not slick enough at the moment.. Great counter there.. came to nothing yet again 1

TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 Mavididi not having his greatest game in final third
JimJams Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 Fats just needs to keep doing that. They'll bring him down or he'll find someone. Somebody should have been coming in on the angle he played it to tbf...
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2023 Posted 4 October 2023 Mavididi comfortably having his worst game. He's getting a lot of space to start in too. To be honest, Fatawu hasn't been a lot better they both need to find another gear if we're gonna break teams like this down. They are exactly where we need to attack, getting them round the back.
