A rather disjointed first half.  QPR were more lively than many expected and pressed well.

 

Leicester got things going second half.  Red card for QPR plus thunderbolt strike from Winks did the job.

 

Three points and moving on!

 

P.S.  How many players left to score for Leicester in the 23-24 season?

To find a way when you're not at your best, that's the sign of a very decent side. Over 46 games, there'll be days when we're not on it, and we've still bagged 3 points.

Winks with a wordlie!! 

 

Absolutely love Fatawu, he's got the same energy as KDH: relentless and terrier-like. I can imagine Rodgers bringing him off for "taking too many touches", that's how exciting he is!

Didn't see much of that due to dodgy streams but that was a hugely important win in the context of the season, tricky game at a team with nothing to lose and we found a way with an absolute worldie from Winks.

Made hard work of that and we looked complacent, sloppy and at times a tad lazy.

 

But, the 3 points are the most important, and it was a cracking goal from Winks worthy of winning the game.

 

Fatawu and Winks were probably our best players.

 

Have to improve a hell of a lot next Friday!
