We've amassed 39 points from a possible 42 and people are still predicting us to lose to 18th placed Cov and big scary Leeds

I genuinely love this forum lol

It's crazy when you think about it. Just shows how much of a freak season Ipswich are having to remain within touching distance of us, so credit to them. I just can't see where the next loss is coming from, there isn't a single team in this league that is anywhere near our level.

I understand about keeping your feet on the ground but the last couple of years have been genuinely miserable supporting us so I'm all for people enjoying it and being a little bit cocky

As long as we win the important ones. Its OK to lose one or two to the likes of Hull but we need to be winning the ones that matter like Leeds and Ipswich.  Every team has an off day or a bit of a slump but it's how we deal with that. As long as the players keep putting the effort in and keep the focus on getting promoted.

That still pi55es me off that Arse did the double on us. Even though we finished 10pts clear of them.

Although the 2-1 defeat at The Emirates when Simpson was wrongly sent off, I'm sure galvanized the team to go on and win the title!... I was there and that sickening last minute winner by Welbeck was actually a blessing in disguise!!  We went on a fantastic, title winning run after that game.

I've just been up a volcano so I might be hallucinating, but did I read someone being pissed off about something that happened in the most miraculous sporting season of all time?

I think I shall make my way to the set of Star Wars and check myself.

I actually think our likelihood of losing games will go down the longer the season goes on as we get more aligned to the Maresca way of playing. We probably will lose games but I think our performance levels will only get better assuming we keep our key players fit.

Winks, Ricardo, Dewsbury Hall, Faes, Vestergard and Hermansan are irreplaceable in this system over a longer period of games.

We're in a rich vein of form right now. It's unrealistic to assume it will continue for much longer.  When it does finally break I suspect that come the end of the season we'll look back and see that this was the best form of the season.

Realistically, I would hope that we don't lose more than 6 all season, especially if we have ambition to win it.

This is the Championship though, so defeats could literally come from anywhere.

Results wise rich vein of form yes but there’s plenty more to come from this team. We aren’t really playing THAT well objectively, the opposition are terrible. The opposition will remain terrible until May. We miss bucket loads of chances. We will have a period this season where we win 3/4 games out of 7 by 5/6-0. As you said this is the championship, the standard is embarrassing

5 or 6. I think we should lose fewer than that given how much better we look than most of the opposition most weeks, but Ipswich, Leeds, West Brom and Sunderland all look decent. Don't be surprised if levels drop slightly if we secure promotion early, unless we're desperate to break records of course.

I think we'll lose another 2, possibly 3.

One will be to a good team buy I suspect there'll be a shock loss or 2 along the way where we just have an off day.

why is Ipswich a freak season  you may as well say ours is  To say nobody is near our level is certainly stretching it  we have already lost 2 at home and it could have been five  although away never looked like losing

5? we've conceded some sloppy goals but never really looked like losing. The standard of finishing in this division is so terrible I wouldn't be surprised if we only lose to Leeds away and a George Hirst hat-trick at Portman Road.

Seriously though, Sunderland away, Leeds away and Ipswich doing the double over us is about it. I've seen enough from the other sides in this division to think we'd be disappointed dropping points to any of them.

It's waiting & totting up at the end I suppose..

I don't believe there will be any logical train of thought, that will ou fox or out pundit the other.

We shouldn't underestimate ourselves nor underestimate any of our rivals for expected, turn of results, nor cocking it up.. Next Rotheram games seem to have their inevitability about them, but we would love nothing more than see the miller's doff their caps &  in our direction & favour.

Most importantantly stand our own ground that others chase air. NOT LOOK FOR THE Least of our potential results but push for the 3pts everytime.

Build further a scenario Tha our rivals must ovcome 7pts to any of our loss..

Though accordingly  don't in this period of the season panic, after any dropped points.

I prefer concentrating on ourselves & not worry what the all & mighty of the League are doing, and compare OUR results simply with our own performances, deserved or not..
