but an injury to someone else would mean they need replacing. Doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things

Thought he looked good today, doesn’t have the high energy of KDH or Wilf but his football intelligence is levels above both, got into some really good positions and has a great ability of keeping the ball moving and retaining possession. Criminal how under utilised he was by Rodgers and allowed to become so disengaged and disenchanted with the club. 
 

Cracking goal and hopefully if he doesn’t move on, will be another decent option to come in and add quality and alternatives when we need fresh legs and energy, has more than enough quality to be very effective for the remainder of this season.

It’s not just been about injuries. He’s had plenty of chances when fit in the last five years. He’s had a decent 45 mins. Let’s see if he can back that up.
Would still ideally like him gone if it would enable us to get another player in. If it wouldn’t, then might as well just keep him until the summer.

I’ve always defended Praet and thought there is a player but similar to a few players who snuck out of the door last season on a free….it’s so obvious that’s what he’ll do so not fussed if went before the window closes (if we actually bring someone in).

 

Otherwise, he’ll go down as another “what if” and partly that’s down to Rodgers but also partly his apparent lack of fight IMO….the lack of 90 minutes he’s played is shocking.

If I remember correctly, Rodgers wanted the club to bring in Callum McGregor from Celtic and the club couldn’t/didnt get the deal done and Praet was signed instead, kind of feel that Rodgers even at that stage got a cob on that he didn’t get his way and Praet never really got a fair chance, and then rightly or wrongly lost his mojo, heart and fight for the game and this club. It has been a frightful waste of money and his prime years as a footballer.

Hearing that Torino are ready to go all out after seeing the Belgian Zico yesterday, expect a very generous offer where we pay his transfer fee, wages, signing on fee, flights, removal service, food drink and all utilities as well all medical expenses.

Hit the nail on the head there.  What a waste of what should have been his best footballing years.

Why is it that every time he has a decent game that people say he was under utilised? We had a midfield 3 of Maddison, Tielemans and Ndidi, genuinely one of the best in the Premier League at times when they played together lol 

 

He’s a tidy player but average.

But that midfield got us relegated, just to add to that

And helped us win the FA Cup and finish 5th two seasons running. 
 

Praet is the worst player of the 4. Doesn’t even get into our current best midfield.

Both…and he was still better than Praet.

 

Folks, Dennis has a 5-year track record with us. Those prattling on about him based on 45 minutes of decent football against a mid-table Birmingham side are likely suffering from post-Rodgers PTSD (or some other form of traumatic memory impairment), and frankly reminds one of those FTers ready to hand Tete a lifetime contract after his debut for us.
