Inter accepted our offer, the player passed his medical, all we needed to do was complete the basic paperwork. It's nothing to do with their side. They're sitting there waiting for a BACS transfer from King Power PLC and we've realised a foreign player might need a work permit 🙈

Yes , i'm sure they were sitting there thinking - we can't afford this, but let's just go through with it anyway.

 

The fact that he's over here for a medical suggests that they felt that they could afford it, none of the latest reports have said anything about money.

Completely understand but still feel his leadership and personality has helped the dressing room refresh after the last few dire years. 
 

There is not ONE financial decision to blame here, it’s a myriad of overinflated wages for the Championship, which to be fair, we signed when we were finishing 5th two years in a row. Not being brave and rotating the squad THEN when it may have been easier to move the second string like Amartey/Praet is the mistake.

Because we could afford it if we sold someone, presuming it’s a finance issue.

 

Would you prefer we don’t look or bid for players until a player is sold, or would you prefer a deal was ready to go, just in case we did sell someone.

It's nothing to do with his team, otherwise he wouldn't be over here doing medicals and agreeing terms. They just assumed we'd have done the basics and it looks like we haven't.

Only LCFC can fu*k this up. If these people are going to be in charge of our recruitment in the summer, then we are seriously fu*ked.

I am so embarrassed with our club atm. Sorry,Top you’re not cut out for running our club. It’s hard to believe we are top of the league, with these idiots in charge. I hope this doesn’t push Enzo to leave with the 1st decent opportunity😡

What an absolute farce! A whole transfer window and they are still messing around going into the last couple of hours 🤡

 

Its the basics of the recruitment! Jeez. I would imagine Enzo will be furious.  The recruitment team as a whole needs sorting out before the summer transfer window as its a joke

It’s quite clear this is the clubs issue….. the deal has allegedly been agreed and the medical completed. Reading between the lines it’s the club that have screwed up once again.
