Because I like to hear the crowd noise at matches on TV, I have to have the commentaries too. My current pet annoyances from Commentators/pundits are: calling midfield playmakers - QUARTERBACKS; some one putting over a DELICIOUS cross; OVERTIME instead of added time. This may sound petty but really grates. I’m sure there are more!

You'll not see a better shot / header etc seems to be par for most games.

I hate passages of commentary that sound rehearsed. Drury and Weaver are the worst for this.

Stringer used to be terrible for this.

The allez les bleus stuff made my toes curl so badly I nearly busted through my slippers.

Drury is awful. Absolutely unlistenable cringe fest.

Anything related to a player being "street smart" or going down tactically

Excellent 'game management'

Almost as bad as "recycle the ball". Sounds something American's would say.

Peter Drury reading out clearly pre-conceived poetry as the players from Bournemouth and Luton come out to play a midweek game in November.

I really hate when they stop talking and pan around the ground when things like You'll Never Walk Alone play. They'll nearly always follow that up with "spine tingling atmoshere here at Anfield" and then 2 minutes into the game you can hear the players talking to each other and Klopp berating the referee.
