Coventry game - disappointed with last 10 minutes?

“Absolutely not. We were with 10 players, it’s normal. We didn’t concede many chances until they scored, so it’s a shame. Coventry are a good team. We move on.”
 

Complacency an issue now?

“Complacency, it’s not something is allowed. There are still 19 games. We are in this moment 10 points from the third. It’s game by game and we’ll see where we are. If we think we are not going to lose a game where we have 10 players, it’s complicated. We go game by game.”
 

Sensi?

“In terms of the transfer window, in this moment we are not allowed to do anything. So there’s no agreement with anybody.”
 

Confident deal can be done?

“The window market is open. Anything can happen in or out. I don’t know.”
 

Frustrating window?

“It’s frustrating for all the clubs. Everything can happen for all clubs, in or out.”

What positions can Sensi play?

“I like Stefano but he’s not our player. But he’s Inter’s player. So to talk about him now it’s not worth it. He’s a good player who can play in different positions. But he’s Inter’s player.”
 

Any players close to leaving?

“No. Not close to players in or out.”
 

Mood?

“Immediately after the game, the mood was not great, but we moved on. There’s no problem to lose a game. We were not happy, but after two days, we started to think about Ipswich.”

“Fantastic. I didn’t go away because I have four kids, but otherwise I would go away too!”

“There is Willy and Danny on the bench, they are going to be there to help the team the way I do. We don’t have a plan. We have two people there and I’ll be in contact with them.”
 

Can go 10 points clear? 

“No because we can also go four points! From now until the end, it’s a game of chance where you can go more or less points. If we go 10 points clear, there’s still 18 games to go. It’s a long race. We are happy in the position we are.”

Loved a goal against Ipswich did Dave. I distinctly remember Mick McCarthy saying, after another Nuge goal and Ipswich defeat, that he couldn't wait for us to get promoted and fcuk off so Nugent stopped scoring against them lol

The lads are seriously going to need the fans for this one to push them over the line.

 

The players have shown that they want it, it's time for the fans to step up and show that we want it.

I'd play Hamza as the forward 8 if KDH is out. He carries the ball well and can be disruptive in their half.

Maresca said that he's hasn't been training until today. We have 4 days until the game so It's not a big injury otherwise Maresca would have said. Even if he's out, we've played without KDH before in a match situation.

I like that idea too.  Not sure Hamza is capable of being creative enough - it's a big ask - but at least he would be good at pressing/turning over possession higher up the field.    Our tackling is sometimes very weak;  I think we will be needing to challenge Ipswich strongly in midfield.
