The wage bill is still vast for a club at this level, most of which is being blown on Praet, Choudhury etc. The Rodgers/Rudkin hangover will take years to recover from.

I presume it was expected we would get a fee for Daka and Soumare. Neither are going to happen. I had a feeling we had to let another biggie go, and KDH is the only one left.

I also refuse to believe we spent £7million on cannon if we were up to our necks in FFP problems. You just don't do that with 3 other strikers. Even if 2 could go away for AFCON. You'd just loan a striker.

Not sure I see much logic in this from our point of view, because as @Ric Flair said, we spent well in the Summer, and I also don’t buy the  ‘scared of new punishment regime’. Just feels really odd.

He was gone to Fulham but the Paulhina deal fell through.
