If these are the guys that presided over the previous few seasons' injury record then I don't feel to sad to see them go. That said, I feel our injury record this season hasn't been bad at all. Especially when you consider our supposedly most injury-prone players (Riccy, Justin, Winks) have been playing week-in/week-out.

I'm a big one on facts, but let's read between the lines here.

  • We had a great injury record for years.
  • Rodgers arrives and we start getting injuries.
  • He gets rid of our long-standing physio with an exceptional record for us, blaming a change in how things are done... reverses said restructuring about 18 months later.
  • Rodgers leaves and our injury record starts to improve.

Yet how many people were insistent that iTs JuSt bAd lUcK lol

You cant blame Rennie for being a bit smug/ bitter  about it all.

There of course was always an element of that, see Fofana which just compounds things.

But I'm sorry, you don't get rid of Rennie unless there is a MASSIVE disagreement in how things should be done. He was club furniture, and not only that, he had a great record with his low load high intensity methods.

That's a big turnover in staff, especially in such a key area. Wonder if we have people lined up.

Not a chance. Knowing Rudders he probably didn't even put a notice period in the contracts.

Are there any metrics to support what you've said about our record?

I agree in principle with what you've said, but saying it was great, then was bad and now is getting better again is very anecdotal.

I'd be interested to see some stats compared to the rest of the league(s).

Hopefully ,without tempting fate ,you can add that players whose careers looked finished after being brought back and suffering a repeat of injury look fully restored and are playing a key part in our success in this season to date

I never bought the BR narrative that he had bad luck with players injuries

Under Rodgers regime I remember reading a rumour that Evans was told to run off the worst grade muscle tear possible lol

Redundancies happen - even if you have done a good job. New boss maybe just doesn´t like you. Happens all the time. Get over it!

but it wasn’t a new manager was it? It was half way through his tenure here. And i redundancy happens when that job is no longer available..  also something that hasn’t played out to be accurate
