weller54 Posted 28 February 2024 Posted 28 February 2024 With Leeds and Southampton now out they can fully focus on the League... Is the upcoming QF against Chelsea going to be detrimental to our run in? 1 1
Popular Post phoneticerror Posted 28 February 2024 Popular Post Posted 28 February 2024 No, it’s a handful of extra games now at this stage. Calm down. 25 1 2
Popular Post Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 28 February 2024 Popular Post Posted 28 February 2024 Potentially 3 more games to win a major trophy and we have arguably the strongest squad in the league. 1 game away from Wembley. We have to give it everything now, full strength. 13
Popular Post Dan Posted 28 February 2024 Popular Post Posted 28 February 2024 Only if you let it be. There is no doubt in my mind that beating Bournemouth was a net benefit for us. What you lose in fatigue you will gain in confidence and winning mentality - especially given the nature of how we actually won. 42
Popular Post Izzy Posted 28 February 2024 Popular Post Posted 28 February 2024 Last night proved we've got the depth of squad to cope. Enzo knows what he's doing. 5 1
Spudulike Posted 28 February 2024 Posted 28 February 2024 Last night wasn't a distraction as we'll have a completely different starting line up on Saturday.
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 28 February 2024 Popular Post Posted 28 February 2024 It should increase Enzo's confidence in using the squad to see out games, we are so much more effective with fresh players able to maintain the same intensity. Let's go smash the next 12-15 games. 14
phoneticerror Posted 28 February 2024 Posted 28 February 2024 Getting by Chelsea and drawing Wolves would be the only route. I don’t see Cov getting through. 1

Izzy Posted 28 February 2024 Posted 28 February 2024 Hamza is gonna win the league and the cup double all by himself playing 98 minutes in every game from now until the end of the season. 1

Leicesterpool Posted 28 February 2024 Posted 28 February 2024 Couldn't afford to lose last night no matter competition, three defeats on the spin would have had negative impact. Now we got that winning feeling back we go into the QPR game more positive and look forward to a trip to the Bridge in mid march. With that interesting thought Wembley just one game away.
Crinklyfox Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 It's not a distraction. Our focus must remain on promotion but the FA Cup is giving players opportunity for game time that they otherwise wouldn't have had. IMO Enzo has this right. I expect the side against Chelsea to be much like the starting line up against Bournemouth. 2
Jobyfox Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 3 games from an FA Cup win for only the 2nd time in our history? Do we think the league has now become a distraction?
kyleolly Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 Is there an international break after the quarter final?
coolhandfox Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 If anything the game against Bournemouth helped, nice confidence booster especially amongst the fab base.
Popular Post Aus Fox Posted 29 February 2024 Popular Post Posted 29 February 2024 Only Foxestalk could turn getting to the FA Cup quarter finals into a negative. FFS 10 6
Happy Fox Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 Not a distraction at all could give a huge confident boost for the remaining league fixtures, and also competition for places. The likes of Wanya / Yunus / Nacho will be in the reckoning now for more action in the league.

I agree with this hopefully turn up against QPR and get a win now
HighPeakFox Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 No. Focus on the 3 upcoming games, deal with Chelsea when we get to them.
Spudulike Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 Proof that we now have two very competitive teams. Cup team and league team although it will most likely be a mixture of the two for Chelsea.
Foxmeister Posted 29 February 2024 Posted 29 February 2024 Our reserves getting a boost from beating a prem club away can't be detrimental in any way. 1
