Guest Bilo Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 If the PL are as inept as the EFL have been, we can expect to start on +6 with a £100m donation if promoted, I swear.

I strongly believe we should challenge every single letter of the laws they're trying to hold us to. That’s fine, but on what grounds? Just curious.
coolhandfox Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 Wondered if we'd have thought the same if we were still 14 points clear. We would have been begging them to take 6 points.... 2

I'm not really sure how you can see it as anything other than corrupt. It's literally breaking their own rules and precedents to try and stop us getting promoted. You could pick any number of reasons they might be doing it, bias towards Leeds, keeping Big Leicester in the Championship for the pull, conspiring with the Premier League and the Big Six to make sure we're truly beaten down for the title win, whatever. You can go as tinfoil hat with it as you want but it's still entirely corrupt. 7 1

Muzzy_no7 Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 Ived said it before but there’s no doubt the EFL have had it in for us for a number of months. The refereeing selections and in-game decisions, the fixture scheduling and now more of this back-handed rubbish. 2 1

It is seeking to work with a similar body, to which we are dispute, in unison as a cartel in a framework with no predefined rules. It is corruption, sought and demonstrated. They would?should? be in trouble if they had not backed down so rapidly. 1 1

Both leagues have acted against their own rules repeatedly in trying to punish us. They are both demonstrably corrupt and have caused serious harm to our football club and community. How can any club ever trust them again? Neither league is being run by fit and proper persons. LCFC need to push this and bring them both down. 1

Number 6 Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 What minute are Plymouth getting their penalty tonight then? 1
Matt Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 (edited) As i've said throughout the authorities (PL and EFL) are literally making it up as the go along. This is confirmed by not even knowing their own rules or not having rules in place. Unprepared. Edited 12 April 2024 by Matt

Ric Flair Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 It's no surprise they are willing to risk their integrity in the hope to hammer us, the utter disdain from 2002/03 and 2013/14 as well as this year will have them frothing. 1
Popular Post UniFox21 Posted 12 April 2024 Popular Post Posted 12 April 2024 Also flags why the hell do we have 2 different league bodies for the English system? Why not just have 1 set of defined rules/governing body 6

Part of me wonders if that was the plan actually. In the same way points reductions in the PL seem to be engineered not to cause relegation, i wonder if our initial points haul seemed to give the EFL and PL an easy way of enforcing the deduction and us still getting promoted so it not really impacting anything. Probably enough points for us to be in top 2 and let Leeds win the title. The problem is we feked it up. And Ipswich didnt get the memo. If Ipswich were at WBA points levels, they could still give us a 6 point fine and we would be promoted.
fox_favourite Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 EPL - "let's punish this Leicester side for daring to challenge our mates. You in EFL?" EFL - "Yeah! We hate them as well, we've tried slowing them down with dodgy refs in their games, but they're top and they have made us cry!" Leicester - "as a wise man once said "chat sh..., get banged" EFL - curse you pesky kids...I'm crying again. EPL - "you had one job, EFL"

CrazyKopCorner Posted 12 April 2024 Posted 12 April 2024 (edited) Our lawyers have done a cracking job - EFL trying to get us points deduction when they have no jurisdiction. What a complete bunch of twonks. We gottta get out of this place if it's the last thing we ever do. It'll be interesting if the Premier league can deduct point from the 2022 / 2023 season in the 2024 / 2025 season (IF WE GET THERE!) Come on Leicester push your beleagued bodies 5 more times for the goodness of the club you heroes Edited 12 April 2024 by CrazyKopCorner 4
