Full reserve team needed for Chelsea, sack it off and get the likes of KDH fully fit and firing again

Actually i disagree. A bit of rotation but not much. Some of this team could do with playing with the pressure off a little bit.

Win 1 would have made a massive difference.

Indeed. International break comes at a good time. Would be tempted to send them all on holiday for a few days, clear their heads.

Leeds will win this league our only hope is there due a couple of bad results. Trying to play at the back on a rugby pitch not best idea.

Nothing is a given in this league and we were so much better than Leeds but even being better doesn't earn us the right to walk the title.

Ooooorrr they basically have two weeks off now.

Honestly these comparisons to Rogers are making people look so thick.

The same team will play Chelsea next week so hardly 2 weeks off.

It’s quite clear that teams confidence has taken a prime Mike Tyson blow.

The problem with this is, because of how we play, it takes longer to try and regain that confidence and form.

Enzo is young in his career as many have eluded to, but this could be his undoing. He doesn’t have a “back to basics” it seems, and this is what you desperately need at times like this. Brendan didn’t either, and the problem with it is you continue to play a style of play with heightened levels of anxiety, and it just results in mistakes, nervous performances and an inability to get out of it.

Our biggest threat is us, Enzo has an international break to sort it out, he’s got to think of some alternative ways of going about getting us back into form, you can’t simply keep going and hope you get back into form…

What's that? 3 weeks till our next game?

Time to get them drilled on an alternative style of play, a different approach/formation that we can at the very least change to because this one is getting pedestrian and predictable.

You'll get slated for that comment by some on here who'd rather see us win a trophy than actually try and sort out the long term sustainability of the club.

I get the feeling the off the field issues are having a big effect on the fella. Even if we do go up whats he got to spend? As well as a points deduction. His game management was very similar to how Rodgers was when he threw in the towel.

It looks like he only trusts certain players it seems and certainly so when the pressure is on. Maybe if we get up and running again the shackles will come off with selection.

Arguably 4 points away to Sunderland and Hull after losing 3 is finding some kind of form.

Wonder if you will still feel this way if Leeds win the league?
we have blown a 14 point lead , that’s hard to take my friend.

Complains players are knackered, makes 2 subs  Just missing a notebook and shit clap to become Italian Brendan.

Wilf for Akgun genuinely adds something different to it.

You push for as long as you can with Vardy simply because he was great today and that chance Daka missed, you want that to fall to Vardy for his third.

Mavididi and Fatawu in a game full of stoppages (where there would be time added on) against a tiring hull defence is always worth persevering with - even with them struggling with form.

Enzo’s problem is there are too many players in the squad (still) who can execute his plan. His sub,  Daka fluffed another chance because just isn’t very good under pressure - that’s something he can’t legislate for.

The lack of subs are not (at this moment) same as when Brendan did (or more so didn’t) do it. Enzo is being let down by many in his squad at present.

Think people are getting carried away with the subs thing, we were need to freshen up was a 8 and wide.

Our options today in those area we honking other then Wilf.

Agree with this to a point, those were the areas of the pitch we could have effected the game with quality replacements which we don't really have. As much as we love Albrighton he's not generally going to be an impact player in a game like today. Having said that, Mavididi was so poor that having someone on the pitch not actively hindering us would have been an improvement.

Are you joking? He didn't look anywhere near fit.

I didn’t say he did look fit? I’m saying he got some great tackles and broke up the play.

Think when I looked at the fixtures and totted up predicted points a few weeks ago I had this down as a draw, but think we all looked at it and feared a loss or tough game - And that was before this wobble.

Still doesn't make me feel any less disappointed.

Pressure is really building now.

What does "back to basics" look like?

yes Mickey Adam’s in 02-03. Portsmouth were champions

And as a bit of a soothing reassurance for everyone, we absurdly went temporarily top with about 4 games left when Pompey were by far the best team all season and we were runaway second best.

(Tho third place Sheffield utd were 25 points behind us both)
