In my opinion.

 

We won that due to the Semi - (and a bit.more) abandonment of EnzoBall.

1st half was the best, and might I say the most entertaining we have played in a long time. Less tippy tappy, 'to me to you' pass fest in the name of control, and more to the playing to our individual players strengths.

 

Some may say it was because we had Ricardo and Doyle in the side ( yes we did look better and more balanced) but it was the lack of EnzoBall for me was the real reason.  We looked to get forward.

 

Yes around 70 mins we retreated to a bit of control and put ourselves under a bit of pressure but then tried to push on again. Which was pleasing 

 

For me there was noticeable increase in the amount of forward and cross field passes from previous matches and far less EnzoBall back and side passing to control. 

 

And didn't we look and perform so so much better for it.

 

Let's hope Enzo has learnt and plays the same way again. As said, we are better at it then EnzoBall.

Feking brilliant that. For 30 mins in the second half we were brilliant. That is a decent Norwich side and we blew them away. 
 

Shame there will be lots of posters missing today. Oh dear, never mind.

Same game plan but, more energy, more fight, more aggression and greater desire. That's why we won today.

Huge win, even if we do drop back down to 3rd later. It was important to get back on track. 

 

It was a performance similar to earlier in the season where we wore teams down, and they just looked beaten. Quick turnaround in games not helped Norwich in that sense. 

 

Despite never looking in trouble, i don't like the way we played from 75 to 85 but navigated the stoppage time impressively.

Finally. Used the wingers, and eventually made the right substitutions. Faes breaking into their half was important, but forward players leaving it to Doyle to cross was less good. Daka was terrible, but the rest put in a shift.

Best weve played in a long time. Doyle spraying cross field balls and stretching the opposition is something weve massively missed the last few months. Massive attacking weapon in our armoury. Fatawu, Mavididi, KDH class. Best game from side show Bob in a while too although still think defence is far too open

Well done guys. I was outside in the carpark at work and I heard the roar legged it back inside to see vardys goal as sky is a couple of minutes behind. Good game, scary first 20 mins then we took control 🦊👍

Huge win, intensity, we defended as a team and attacked as a team, we mixed up fast play through the middle, to direct diagonal classy passes to the wings from defence, we also controlled the game for about 15 mins of the 2nd half with our usual ball control style. It’s amazing what we can do when we play pragmatic football. We attacked when we needed to and controlled the ball only when it was necessary when Norwich tried to come back. 
 

Great subs today also. Credit to Enzo but was very annoying to see him trying to get us to slow the game down when we scored. Overall one of the better performances this season. 
 

Drop the system, be pragmatic and we can win this league.
