Yeah - it's always sad when you don't feel a part of it. I remember Matty James opening up about it when we won the Premier League - he was injured through all of it.

Why the clamour for Alves to play ? It would only be a hollow gesture and the players who actually won promotion and the league should all feature if the plan is to empty the bench it should be their celebration too . Alves’ time will come if he’s good enough I’m sure

Think this highly unlikely, as Martin has suggested that he is likely to play an under strength side as to not risk injuries for the play offs.

At the risk of being boring and not reading the room, Blackburn are one of the most dangerous sides in the bottom half and they need a win to be sure. 

 

If we want 100 points (and we should) we should play our strongest side. Plus, the core players that have won it for us deserve the chance to sign off in style in front of a home crowd. 

 

Only special treatment I'd be handing out would be Albrighton and Iheanacho off the bench for a chance to say goodbye and have a clap. Space them out at least 10 minutes apart ideally so they can both have a good reception separately. 

 

Wouldn't start either of them.

Hopefully Albrighton gets some minutes, along with Alves. Would be surprised to see Braybrooke involved. He’s not been with the first team for the photos or travelled with the squad like Alves has.
