Fundamentally when King Power go, so will all this nonsense and the individuals like Aiyawatt and his mates will go back to supporting the big 6. Realistically we won’t be fan owned but sometimes it is preferable to have a faceless company who put competent individuals in charge, than a rich man’s son who cannot cope with jeopardy, decision making or anything needed to run a large organisation. People giving him adulation, this time last year when we were relegated he was having a go at the fans, regarding some abuse? The club’s fortunes are on a downward spiral if we carry on with the trio of Aiyawatt, Rudkin and Whelan. Yes, that’s even with promotion but we have since the fa cup win, taken about 6 steps back, with the odd one or two forward.

Fvcking mental that people *still* think shite like this is gonna make us big in Thailand. If it didn't happen when we pulled off one of the biggest miracles in the history of sport, then it never will.

 

How about we all focus on making sure every child in Leicestershire actually supports - and can easily attend games of - their local club? That's of far more value, both societally and (long-term) financially to our club than people, wherever they're from, only interested in basking in reflected glory when it comes.

Here’s a PR idea the club could have gone with. They randomly pick 4 season ticket holders of different ages and ask them to be part of the celebrations Saturday and Sunday. One of them to be a Union FS member given their huge efforts. So on the pitch, trophy lift, on one of the buses. Ask them to take some video clips. Edit them, distribute them on socials. Costs next to nothing. An experience of a lifetime for four loyal fans, and authentic content you suspect most of us would like

Yeah it didn’t particularly bother me as it’s not that big of a deal but I just knew the pitch would be full of random Thai people.

Here here. My son is the only Leicester fan in his class. All others are a mix of Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool. A lot of teachers seem to be season ticket holders though.

That's what yesterday was about for me. So many kids and families were there enjoying the atmosphere. When kids see things like yesterday it gets them hooked for life.

Fans should be at the heart of everything you do.

We had a whole season at Donny where we let certain fans release the news of signing players rather than just put “delighted to announce” from the official account. The fans loved it, the content went viral and we became relatable.
 

Content wise we only ever ask for photos for the programme which is utter nonsense as it’s a dead product.

 

We see fans as an inconvenience and the great unwashed. Thats the issue. You have to remove your ego and embrace what matters to those that care. We are too corporate and so far up our own arses to allow anything maverick like you suggest.
