Chrysalis Posted 15 July 2024 Posted 15 July 2024 Guessing we will turn down the offer like the 2 previous one's.
fox_favourite Posted 15 July 2024 Posted 15 July 2024 I think for his sake, he needs to find a permanent home where he'll be number 1 in the championship. Decent keeper, but not good enough for us now.
Popular Post Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 July 2024 Popular Post Posted 15 July 2024 We'll piss about, turn it down and he'll leave for free next summer. There will be no repercussions. 5
moore_94 Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 I think Derby would be getting a good deal for £1.5m 2
Edingleyfox Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 Ridiculously low fee and Leicester cannot risk losing another keeper at thr moment 1

Derby fan here I’ll tell you this one we’ve moved on already because we’re signing Jacob Widell Zetterström from Swedish club Djurgårdens IF. sdb Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 We are such a poorly run club! How is a keeper of this ability going to end up leaving for about £1 mill?! We seem unable to look beyond 12 months in advance at Leicester, as seen on so many occasions in recent years. 2
alanf0x Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 I just don’t get it. Is this me being stupid and don’t get how it works… Sell now for £500k and save £25k a week in wages. Or put him up for sale for £1.5 million, he goes on a free ans no one will buy him and we have paid out his £25k a week for a year (£1.2 million). 2

We had an offer for £4mil when we went down (allegedly), if that's the case then it's so silly not to let it happen.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 Surely we need Iversen now, as if we can get rid of Ward and Jakob Stolarcyk is injured, he’s a decent number 2? 3
CosbehFox Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 Rudkin logic Turns down £4m - Iversen sits on his backside for six months, goes out to loan at Stoke, loses value Turns down approx £1m - Derby move onto the next keeper, backside or loan again, loses value. 4

Either going to end up out on loan (with us covering some of his wages) and leave for free next summer Or be stuck here as 3rd choice not playing and leave for free next summer 2
Clever Fox Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 We can't go into the Premier league with Ward as our number two. If Mads gets injured we'll be in deep shit. Iversen has proven to be decent in the league and certainly better than Ward, Unless we get a decent Fee we need to keep him until January at least.

He was better than Ward which I think made us wear rose tinted specs but he also made a couple of howlers.

I'd still prefer Iversen as Backup until Jakob is back in the squad. 1
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 Rejected a bid of 900k from Derby by the way. Alarming.

ClaphamFox Posted 24 July 2024 Posted 24 July 2024 On the basis that we're unlikely to sell Iversen AND Ward given the injury to Stolarczyk, I'm hoping Iversen stays.

Madness as a sale will be pure profit, only issue could be wages and any bonuses if he hasn’t asked for a move away. surely a reasonable up front fee plus some performance related add ons and hefty sell on % ensures we save face.
