People saying Cambiasso are advocating appointing someone who, from what I can see, has stood on the touchline 5 times as an assistant for an international side, SIX years ago. With nothing at all since then. Basing it off a rumour that he gave some team talks to Matty James and Paul Konchesky SEVEN years ago. That all makes perfect sense but unfortunately you are wasting your time mate because nobody who thinks appointing Cambiasso as our manager is a good idea has any interest whatsoever in logic or reason Edited 29 May 2024 by Guest 4
fox_favourite Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 (edited) Also, what is the obsession with Cambiasso? He's not a manager. Let's move on or appoint Matt Oakley with Matty Fryatt as his assistant Edited 29 May 2024 by fox_favourite 2 1

AKCJ Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 What happened with Ruud when he left PSV? I thought he was doing well. Anyone know?

Fear Of The Fox Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 Will Still will sign elsewhere and we'll end up with another boring manager like Corberan. 1

TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 With ruud being out of work it's a very plausible and possible appointment. More so than corberan which will cost more

I'm not suggesting Esteban as manager, I'm just pointing out that a manager can be successful with no prior experience in the role 1

He was doing well and was all set to commit long term to the project, won a cup and came 2nd in the League. Apparently there was a fall out between him and some backroom staff with Andre Ooijer in particular being mentioned, alongside a "lack of support" at the club - i do wonder what he'd make of Mr Rudkin.
Lambert09 Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 He would have absolutely hated VAR. Goal hangers nightmare
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 Seems like Ruud Van Nistelrooy story has some bite in it. Some betting sites have just added him in at around 6/1 today. Can see Top going after as he's a big name, will command respect from the players and did well in his last gig at PSV
STUHILL Posted 29 May 2024 Posted 29 May 2024 Yup, can see Top going for Ruud. Seems more plausible than most. Anyone watched his team play? Any insight?
