The OS reporting on Fatawu's performance with Ghana. Surely wouldn't be doing so if he was finished with the club.

 

EDIT: Though, having said that, they also mentioned Akgun in the same story, thus immediately trashing my theory.

Whatever else you might think of him, Cooper was apparently highly popular with the squad at Forest and is generally regarded as a good man manager. Footballers of different clubs often seem to socialise together, so it's likely our squad will be aware of this. I'm not sure his appointment will be greeted with quite the same horror that it has induced in some of the fanbase...
