Do you prefer people failing to spell his actual name remotely like how it is spelt? :)

Good point, but since I can't spell it myself, I'm unlikely to notice.

Who said he wasn’t good technically? He’s decent, but it’s not his main strength by a long shot. His crossing to the back post can be frustrating, and for all his worldies and great attempts last season, so many went into orbit.

It’s obvious that his main assets are physical. Take that out of his game, and he could hardly be described as a technician.

His passing is very good, his long passing in particular. His crossing is largely good. His close control is good and he has flip flaps in his locker.

He is basically an excellent player!

(I think I'm a fan! 😄

The Leeds one would have instantly been one of my top 5 all time favourite goals.

Yep I’ll never forget that. I was sat right in front of him when he flicked it over the Leeds players head and went full tilt at the goal. Cooper has to start him. Give him time to do the maximum damage. People also forget how much effort and tenacity he brings to it right flank when out of possession.

If he continues to play as he is, I suggest we change his name to FataWOW :P

Tonight was so frustrating so many times Fatawu was in space and Faes didn’t even look in his direction all he kept doing was cross field pass to mavadud who slowed down the play who passed it ndidi an the back to defence. We are so lob sided to left it’s so predictable. When faes finally passed he passed it short or behind him so he has to come back. They don’t know how to utilise him I’m sick of the cross field that does nothing!

why did he seem so scared? I can’t understand it, he just wouldn’t take on the fullback and be direct like he did so well at southampton. he just didn’t look up for it, i really expected him to explode out the gates today

Forest full backs were good. Had our wingers in their pockets.

We might see a different Fatawu performance against Ipswich.

Fats played like a Tigers inside centre last night. Rather than hit the space on the outside. He seemed to lock his radar on to the biggest gaggle of red shirts available - then run straight at them. Shockingly poor decision making all night. Very disappointing all night.

Both wingers need more to their game at this level. But also need some help, better link up with Midfielders and support from full backs.

Ndidi makes the same run every time, and yes it works occasionally and did for Winks last night too but there is no variety.

Manager has held him back. If people keep telling you you aren't ready you won't be. He should have been brought into this league and told to go flying at it.

I was amazed Dalot didn't get a yellow card, brought Abdul down four or five times after he'd gone past.

Dalot was there to be got at. Just a shame we didn't have a Referee capable of ignoring the fact he was at Old Trafford and it was Manchester United.

The unconscious bias that Gary O'Neill recently referred to is so blatantly obvious in football. I'm not even sure if you'd call it unconscious. Do they still give obvious fouls? Yes. But if an away player fouls a winger 4 or 5 times at a big club's ground and the whole stadium goes berserk, he's giving him at least one card.

Spot on here. I wonder if it was picked up at all on commentary. It’s blatantly obvious bias (bob).
