Cunha banned for 5 games,

been allowed to play and scored in the last 2.

Speculation. It’s far too soon for a decision to be announced, the incident was only two weeks ago.

Spurs likely to be without any centre backs for their match against Wolves. Great.

That wolves abomination looks more and more costly as each game passes.

Cunha should have been banned straight away. This is so inept from the FA. He wasn't the reason we lost, we only have ourselves to blame.

But not surprising, the governance of football as a whole is going down the toilet.

We probably need Southampton to win to keep Palace close and unfortunately also need Forest to continue their surge in their next two games, but no doubt they'll turn to shit when we need them to win.

If we can scrape at least 1 point from these next two games then it's probably a bonus but then the Palace game is huge.

Definitely. Saints are down regardless, Wolves, Palace and Everton are all in reach and we need it to stay that way.  Especially with the run of matches we're on.  If Palace lost to Soton with Chelsea after that, we'd be 3 points behind them at worst when we meet.

But it fxxking comes to something when you're hoping a team with 6 points is gonna do you a favour! Christ!

Man City 10/1 to be relegated I guess that is just people in hope rather than anything more ?

Think it has something to do with the charges they may face. Think bookmakers are just being cautious. :dunno:

Yeah definitely covering their backs on that one. Id imagine if they were at 50s or 100s thete would be some big bets on them.

Anyone else fancy Everton to beat forest?

Everton will be one of the more difficult sides for Forest to play against as they won’t leave themselves exposed on the counter, where Forest seem to be scoring a few goals recently.

Not sure if its me showing my age but as soon as i see or hear the term xg i immediately stop reading the post and move onto the next or change the channel/station.  Same goes for the pointless stats .....that's the first time hes has scored at home, with his red underpants on when the opposition have hit the bar twice in the first 20 mins.  Fck off.

Yeah its age 😂

Forest are not a top four standard side, so you'd have to conclude that they'll wobble at some point and end up around 7th or 8th. When that wobble starts is unknown, but it'd be just our luck for it to start against Wolves and Everton.

The stats are interesting if you are willing to accept what they are telling you. I switch off either when someone says they had an XG of 1 so ‘should have’ scored a goal. I also switch off when I get told about the ‘eyeball’ test.

Everton Forest will be an interesting one.

Everton average 39% possession and Forest 40%.

Xg is actually a useful stat. It takes into account a few factors and can tell you a few things.

Usual if you’re looking over a season or a good few games as a whole.

You're not the only one, I do the same since xG was introduced. I love statistics in general, I understand xG can be useful in some occasions but I don't think it's as important as they make it to be. If I want to get involved into these analytics I just play Football Manager where the coding and stats play a major role by default and you're "fighting" against algorithms with a dose of RNG.

At the end of the game you win, lose, draw and you need to improve on the pitch or change players. Soumare won't improve our xG chances unless he suddenly becomes Kante. McAteer won't improve our xG unless he becomes Mahrez.
