The commentator on my stream was ripping him to shreads, basically saying he offers nothing at all.

Yes I head that as well I believe his exact words was “I don’t know what Skipp offers this Leicester midfield”

Played 7, won 4, drew 3 lost 0.

2.14 ppg. Also conceded equalisers to Boro and Wrexham after he went off.

Skipp is the saviour, the Championship is terrified!

To the tune of Freed from desire. I’ll get me coat…

The sooner Martí realises this the better

Surely he has to see how much better we and JJ are with him next to Winks and not in the 10

Play Bobby, Ayew, Monga etc. and just leave JJ as an 8

Agreed apart from the Ayew bit. Ramsey when fit.

Tbf he’s better than Soumare, admittedly that’s a low bar

He really isn’t.

He just works harder, if Soumare has skipps attitude he’d have been a very different signing.

This is very interesting… correlation or causation? But is the potential implication that he clogs up the midfield and makes us more robust?

How have we gone from the likes of Kate, Ndidi, KDH, Youri, Praet to fuching Skipp and Soumaré as our midfielders. Just so sad to see

And having to watch the midfield and CBs pass 6 times just so the midfielder can get the ball in front.  None of them attempt to turn with the ball, even under no pressure.

Everyone the whole defence pass themselves into trouble and then 8 short passes later the ball ends up at Skipp to do nothing with it. Such a waste, when JJ or Fatawu could’ve received it if Ricardo stops being boring and lazy and tried to move the ball forwards.

Honestly what pisses me off the most is this bounce back pass. I get it, sometimes it can be a useful tool, but they just seem to do it all the time when a lot of the times it's just not being used effectively. Turn and drive forward when there is no one around you. No need to first time pass it back to your defender.

Games he's started: Sheff Weds, Charlton, Birmingham, Oxford,  Middlesbrough, Norwich, Stoke (not sure why people are saying he started v Wrexham? he came off the bench that one). 24th, 13th, 9th, 21st, 2nd, 23rd, 3rd - average position: 13.5

Games he's not started: PNE, Cov, WBA, Wrexham, Swansea, Pompey, Hull, Millllll, Blackburn. 5th, 1st, 17th, 14th, 20th, 19th, 6th, 7th, 18th. Average position: 11.8.

Middlesboro and Stoke aside, he's played in the easier games (and both of those games we chanced).

He’s limited. But he tries and, right now, that differentiates him and makes him worth having in the XI.

A beautiful pass in the lead up to the Daka goal as well.

Decent yesterday, but I'd love to know which other games his trying has actually looked anywhere near good enough

This does my head in too. So lazy & brainless, no thought of progressing the ball.

I thought he was decent at Oxford away when we had 10 men. Covered a lot of ground that day.

He’s a disruptor. He gets around the pitch and puts pressure on/gets in peoples faces.

That’s not to say that he’s good enough - and he’s a million miles away from being worth what we paid - but he’s undoubtedly a much better option than Soumare.

Feel like he gets the tag of being a disruptor as he isn't actually very good at anything but each to their own, I also thought he'd probably be alright at this level a bit like Vestergaard 2 years ago
