420Hashish Posted 19 August 2024 Posted 19 August 2024 Great result tonight. Looking forward to watching us again and backing the team. Score predictions?
foxfanazer Posted 19 August 2024 Posted 19 August 2024 (edited) They looked decent against United but very wasteful up front. Another draw would be alright I reckon Edited 19 August 2024 by foxfanazer 1
Pita Posted 19 August 2024 Posted 19 August 2024 Another point would be nice. Can we play football in both half’s

420Hashish Posted 19 August 2024 Author Posted 19 August 2024 I'm hoping this isn't a case of what we used to do under Rodgers where we put up a good fight against a top 6 team and then fall flat against a midtable team. 3
Happy Fox Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 Would be lovely to win this. Think we will, Skipp should offer us more protection in the middle of the park, and our Forward players can have more impact. 1

I thought ndidi had a good game was everywhere, was good on the ball and harassed the opposition, just hope Reid doesn’t get another start he was very , very poor 3
foxfanazer Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 I reckon this will be a tougher game than Spurs. They move the ball really nicely. Need to defend well 1
RumbleFox Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 This is by no means said in an arrogant or presumptuous way but purely from necessity. If we want to stay up these are the kinds of games we need to win. Also, starting to wish I’d out Vardy in my fantasy team. Absolute GOAT. I said on here before the start of the season he’d score goals then doubted myself. 1

Strawberry_Jam Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 Hermansen Ricardo Faes Vestergaard Justin Ndidi Winks Skipp Fatawu Vardy Buonanotte
South Shire Fox Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 They were miles better then Man U the other night and deserved to win. Going to be a very tough game to get anything out of it
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 Assuming no signings are made in time: Mads Ricardo Faes Vestergaard Justin Skipp Winks BDCR Buonanotte Fatawu Vardy id want JJ and Fatawu on the left to combat Traore. As well as Wilf played last night Skipp will offer more energy and they are busy in that area of the pitch. 1

My guess is we'll only win 2 or 3 away games this year and those will be against teams down at the bottom with us. 1
Claudio Fannieri Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 Mads JJ Vesty Faes Okoli (to handle physical threat of Adama) Ndidi Winks Fatawu Facundo Mavididi Vardy subs Ward Ricardo Nelson VK Skipp BDR McAteer Alves Cannon / new signing

Usually I’d agree but with the points deduction I really think we have to target this as a winnable game. 1
Happy Fox Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 We need to target at least 45 plus points this season and hope that should be enough to stay up with the pending points deduction (8 points I reckon) so about 13 wins and 3 draws will be required give or take. 1
FOXSE Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 We are playing a team below us in the league.... Win! 1

Popular Post Jack1993 Posted 20 August 2024 Popular Post Posted 20 August 2024 Not worried about this at all, just look at the league table, they're only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. As a top half club if we don't win this comfortably then it's not good enough I'm afraid. 6
EastAnglianFox Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 Might even have a couple of new signings to throw into mix though I still wouldn’t start Ayew or Fofana

Gloria Posted 20 August 2024 Posted 20 August 2024 Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but when would a new signing have to be made by to play in this game (assuming no work permit shenanigans)?
