Naturally a little wary at times today re: challenges, but not surprising when those are coming from battle-hardened opponents at least 10 years older than you! On the ball he looked really good, and smart with his driving runs. Was so hoping he'd get through that cloud of pink shirts when he was dancing in centrally, but wasn't to be.

Really hope we hold on to him. A year in the Championship with regular game time will do him the world of good for his development.

Fatawu, McAteer, Mavididi, Monga, Alves.

Would love us to have those five to choose from on the wings next season.

Forgetting Evans? There's a reason he's already getting minutes for us at 16.

Today he came across potentially one of the strongest right backs he will play against in a long time and didn’t shy away at all. The fact that towards the end of the game Tuanzebe just stood off him rather than attempting to bully him off the ball spoke volumes.

He’s ready for regular first team football, now it comes down to getting his education done and managing expectation early on which could mean limiting minutes to some degree.

I can see him getting somewhat regular starts in the Championship by this time next season.

Tuanzebe got done quite a few times by him.

I like how strong he is on the ball for such a small lad. A bit of Eden Hazard about him.

From what I’ve seen against premier league quality full backs, he will more than hold his own against championship level next year. (Somehow) he’s ready. Insane talent.

Hope he's here next season as I think we'll see a confident player then. Watching him it feels like he's still holding back and taking safe options, which is totally understandable by the way.

I feel like with this seasons experience and a full pre season with the first team we'll see a new level of confidence from him and it should translate to seeing much more from him on the pitch.

Next season has potential to be very exciting with the young lads coming through now.

how much does Monga roughly earn right now, today? do we think?

Scholarships these days are normally at the £250 a week mark.

am i the only one who think that evans ready to play more than monga ? :(

There was a little passage of play right in front of me yesterday when Evans really put himself about and put in a couple of tackles. He's not tall but he's stocky and he looks strong. I think he's ready.

Need to keep him at all costs. Evans too.

Seen more potential from Evans & Monga at prem level than I have Alves at Championship level.

Im sure he'll come good, but these two are way ahead of their years, especially Monga.

**quoted the wrong comment there but point remains.

Slightly better value than Ward who is on 160x that.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been really excited by one of our youngsters , have to go right back to Heskey and Joachim

So hope he stays with us

It’s nice to see something good coming from Seagrave instead of it being exploited as a day spa for muppets

Good point! I keep thinking of him as a striker rather than a wide player...but he is a wide forward too, isn't he.
