JJ is gonna get the blame for both for letting the crosses come in too easily but on the second, what the hell is VK doing? Faes has come across to address JJ being beaten, Okoli has followed Archer to cover that run and VK just stands watching Aribo get the freedom of Hampshire to slot in.

I spotted that right away in the game today and couldn't understand everyone blaming JJ

Yes he let the cross come in but he got no support from NDiddi or Skipp.

VK should have prevented the goal by being goalside of the scorer.

Having rewatched the entire game:

Facundo. What can I say.. a gem of a player who will go to the very top.

Bilal.. showed a few nice touches actually. Needs to be more consistent and could become a Very good for us. could.  He’s not hit the ground running and we expected that from a 20m player.
Ayew. I’m beginning to see why he was brought in.

Fatawu. must. start. Against. Forest.

Okoli. Our best defender. He’s really growing into the team.

I really don't get this winks stuff. He isn't faultless but we are far better team when he's on the pitch. Him,.Skipp and Wilf are three very very decent PL players who are hard work for any opponent to handle/better in the league

Oh I wasn't suggesting dropping winks because I think he's a poor player. I think he's a very good player. I just think having a three man midfield of Winks, Skipp and Ndidi isn't attacking enough.

My own opinion is in previous games is that Skipp and Ndidi have performed better so unfortunately you drop Winks for an attacking midfielder.

How fvcking huge is the Forest game :)

Silly thinking incoming but I feel a win could signify this team will not be in a relegation struggle. Unfortunately I’m expecting the red filth to be very good and I’d take a draw all day long.

Fatawu has to start next match on the right with Buonanotte as a 10.

Ayew was a match winner but he could have quite easily given a penalty away with his first action in the game.

Holding onto a Southampton shirt for 5 seconds from the corner was a ludicrous decision and a stonewall penalty giving them the opportunity for a 3-1 lead and a different complexion on today's feelings.

Maybe the bookies suspect our PSR troubles aren’t behind us?

Maybe it's not what the "bookies suspect" and more a reflection of how punters are betting ie the bookies alter the odds so they win as per weight of betting. Of course it could well be punters who "suspect our PSR troubles aren't behind us".

Massive 3 points!! Not just for what it does for us, but Southampton would have gone into that game looking at it as a must win too, for them to go 2 up and the lose will kill their confidence.

It’s still early days, but it’s really hard to see them staying up now.

As for us, back to back wins is huge, if we can take confidence from that, we can really kick on. Another 4 points from the next two and we go into the next international break in a really strong position to kick on as we move through winter.

If he could get the team - Inc the bench - right, we'll give most teams a game and a headache.

Bilal gotta be dropped. There isn't room for him and Buonnotte. He'll have to be the heir apparent for now.

That red filth have some decent proper players now but also clowns like that Yates

Don't know why people are being so cryptic about it, comments are out there already. He said him and Abdul are frustrated not to be starting - any footballer worth their salt would be.

People are reading that as him hating Cooper for dropping him, but you can argue the last two results vindicates the decision - Skipp was great against Bournemouth and deserved to keep his place. But he wasn't as good today, and both coming off the bench changed how today panned out.

Personally don't see Winksy as the sort to upset the apple cart - he just wants to play and I imagine both made their case bloody well second half today.

Storm in a teacup and people hearing what they want to hear for their own agenda. Bring on Forest.

Non story then - expected it would be Twitter nonsense

Is that it? 😂

He is definitely one to stir it up though, heard he was instrumental in a few sackings at Spurs.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game yesterday. Took the dog for a walk along the beach with my daughter and got carried away going much further than planned. Got back, saw the score, swore, then watched us completely dominate and come back to win. Great day.
