Went into the season worrying where the goals were going to come from but it's the other end of the pitch which is a bigger concern at the minute. As well as individual errors, we're lacking bite in the midfield. Winks and Skipp are similar profile players- nice footballers but way too easy to get through

I hate this attitude to games, the only ones that have no real importance are the ones that mean nothing, relegation spots sorted and confirmed, promotion spots sorted, European sports sorted. Game that if we win or lose we stay 15 at the end of the season are games that have no real importance, this was a game where a few more wins gives us another trophy.

Correct. Also, some good momentum going into a massive game if we play well tonight and get a result. Cooper binned the game off. Simple as that.

The lopsided full back thing is one of the shittest tactics ever, it's like something a 13 year old playing FM would come up with.

Awful really.

Made the trip on a Wednesday at significant cost. Don't expect a win at Old Trafford.

However - I don't expect that kind of awful capitulation. It's like the entire team couldn't really be that bothered. At least pretend; at least make out it matters.

Oddly enough, the only player who looked up for it was Soumare. And that's really damning.

To be honest, on the ball we did better than I thought we would given the respective selections of the 2 managers. Soumaré was surprisingly decent, Skipp won a lot of tackles, Ayew held the ball up well and BEK had his best game for us so far. Unfortunately we have again gifted our opponent goals and in general we look horrific defensively; Justin and Okoli were no better than Thomas and Coady.

Oh and the commentators were so annoying and ill-informed about us, it was painful.

That had been coming. It is alarming to think these are fully involved squad players who will be needed when suspensions, injuries and loss of form hit.

Ward, Soumare and Thomas still involved is a damning indictment on the club.

What an odd display.

Negatives:

- Absolutely horrendous defensively, literally school boy stuff.

- Shape of the team out of possession needs improvement. Looked like a pub team at times.

- Right back needs to be a priority in the window if Cooper continues to overlook Ricardo. Justin is done.

- We conceded 5.

Positives:

- We scored 2 away at Old Trafford (Could have been 3).

- Realised tonight after he came on how much we've missed Vestergaard. His distribution is light years ahead of any of our other defenders.

- That new lad in midfield... Bouba Soumare looked decent! 😂 Where did that performance come from, best in a Leicester shirt since he joined, actually ran for once.

- Alves got some game time and did OK.

- Buonanotte is an absolute pest.

If we beat Ipswich at the weekend I think Cooper can just about justify that selection tonight. Should we lose though, I think questions will be asked and rightly so.

We had a good 10 minutes right before conceding the 5th :scarf:

When the Coach turned up and the players managed to get to the dressing room.

Cooper's tactic is completely reliant on hope. Hope someone has a moment of individual brilliance and creates a goal or scores, while hoping no-one fecks up in defence and gifts goals to the opponents. It failed against Forest and failed miserably tonight.

It's actually worse than that. Soumare and Thomas were relatively decent. We now have even worse players in Bobby Reid and Edouard that make you question whether Thomas and Soumare were ever that bad in the first place.

If I hear the words ‘free hit’ it makes me want to scream. No professional game of sport is a free hit. Cooper has gone down massively in my estimations tonight. £47 a ticket, 200 odd mile round trip to watch an mis matched patched up side in a game he’s totally binned off from the start. Disgrace.

Yeah this is about accurate.

People pay ****ing loads to go to the games. They deserve at least the pretence of respect.

It's not even worth getting het up about is it? It was over before it started.

I should add - he's put massive pressure on himself to beat Ipswich after throwing that one.

Lose at the weekend and he has to go. I don't think the board will have much choice if we lose.
