We haven't been great either. 1st goal completely switched off from a throw in, bang, goal. Ndidi might've done better with his chance.

Annoying things is I think we have shown a couple of moments where if we had attacking threat we could've caused problems. Ayew and Ndidi as your front 2

Ayew can't start, completely useless up top in my opinion, a good sub for late on against tired legs

Fatawu needs to be on the right side hes too predictable on the left, going down the line every time

The CBs slowing down the play isn’t working as Utd press, it’s wasted when they boot it long to Ayew who can’t seem to hold onto anything.  Winks needs to carry it up the pitch.  It’s a waste playing Ndidi where Facoundo should be receiving the ball.

Is Faes a secret hitman or something?!? Absolute utter disgrace of a defender yet seemingly is 1st choice under every manager we've had. Thought he was at fault for the their 2nd and he completely blocked the view of the ball for VK by jumping for the ball, then that counter at the end he didn't even try to make any attempt to win the ball. I'm convinced that as soon as we drop him we'll see a huge improvement in defence.

I very much disagree. Mistakes happen and every player will make the odd mistake. 

 

However when you've got a team of international footballers (Faes, VK, Justin, Ndidi etc) making mistake after mistake it comes down to coaching, tactics etc. It's not like multiple players collectively forget how to play football. It's why I find it hard to be too harsh on any single player (a lot of the comments about VK for instance in this thread are pretty harsh). I reckon if you took any of the aforementioned players out and put them in another team in this league they would do well and we'd all be going "why couldn't they do that for us" and I'll tell you why... Steve Cooper.
