We will lose the next 2 against Chelsea and Brentford. After that if lose against West Ham at home that will be 1 point from 6 games and probably in relegation zone. Decision time for Top.

Yeah, if we're going to replace the manager better to do it now. Can't see us getting results in the next few games regardless, but it will at least give the new boss a chance to evaluate the squad and ask for relevant reinforcement(s) in the transfer window. Of course we may not be able to bring in new blood. Which is why I'd hope for Jose - the football may not be the most attractive but he'll know how to grind out results.

Van Nistlerooy has left Manchester United. Possible of him coming here if we let Cooper go?

He was linked before in the summer, then took the role at United. Not impossible be quite ironic if Cooper was sacked and is replaced by the manager who got him the sack.

I don’t get the potter shouts whatsoever

It would only make sense if we completely changed our model and brought in a recruitment team like Brentford, Brighton etc.

But we wont be doing that as Rudders is king.

Moyes is a dinosaur, for me sidewards appointment.

Yeah, but we’re in a building phase where the key things for our side to be is solid first and foremost.

That to me, makes Moyes not a bad fit for what we need to do over the rest of this season and probably next season too.

There’s no way we as fans can expect the side to play champagne, front foot football and stay up; it has to be a bit dirty, combative, high energy not so high quality stuff - ands that’s the sort of stuff Moyes seems good at.

Why are people so keen on RVN?? nothing in his managerial career to date shows he has the skills to rebuild us as a club.

It is Moyes for me.  Was in the summer and remains that way now.

Did very well at PSV the season before they then won the league. Developed young players, some of whom he'd coached in their academy team prior to that too.

I'd say there's plenty to like about him.

Seeing as we are obsessed with managers with pl experience I could see ending up with someone one uninspiring like Hassenhutl.
Ticks the boxes with pl experience.

So does Pulis but we won't get him either

Club will probably spend a couple of weeks grovelling to Potter to get him in again, then shit themselves and panic sign someone shite like Patrick Vieira

I'd take him in midfield

Thanks mate, it's valuable insight.   By the same token.... Didn't Cooper win a youth world cup??  I'm not an expert on the Dutch league, but wouldnt it be like managing one of the best teams in the league and also having some of the best talent in the youth setups??

Cooper was lucky to have the talent he did in his England squad.... Was it the same for RVN?? (I don't know btw, just asking the question)
