He's been in charge of the clown show for the last 4 years, maybe some self reflection into how he allowed a club to piss away millions financially, get relegated which was utterly avoidable and then appoint a bloke totally incapable of doing the job, only to sack him 13 games in and not have a replacement lined up.

This is my take on it too. I can understand why many would scoff at it, but in the last week it feels like he's acted way more like his dad than at any other time in his tenure, and I think that's a good thing.
