Announced tomorrow…first game in the dugout vs West Ham.

Makes sense introducing him to the home fans hope he’s the one to save our season, well he can’t be any worse than Cooper hope the new manager bounce starts Saturday V Brentford we’ll hopefully see the lads hoping to be in Ruudy’s first 11 v West Ham ?

Just need to give him a rocking KP stadium Atmosphere on Tuesday night new manager bounce for the rest of the season !

What did he say?

Paraphrasing, but:

- Surprised by the appointment

- PSV scored lots but were defensively ponging, could barely keep a clean sheet

- Games were too open

- Struggled to adapt in Europe

- Good at developing players but could be found lacking tactically

He ultimately said he “couldn’t fully endorse” the appointment.

Sounded like he thinks RVN would struggle in the Premier League, especially defensively.

Yes, that rings true, and with our defence it rather worries me.

I assume this has been mentioned more than once but the penny has only just dropped that he played with Enzo at Malaga.

When Man U played Chelsea the other week it was mention on comms. Took me by surprise, I knew they both played for them, but never put two and two together

“I want to work in an organisation with a clear vision,” Van Nistelrooy told AD. “And I want to work in a two-person unit with a technical director. I think that construction is very important. Then you can focus much better on your work as head coach.”

Oh ****

Which is where Darren Fletcher comes in. Or Ben Dawson who did the role at Newcastle.

“While out of the game, Lampard rejected opportunities to coach overseas and spent time learning from his peers, attending dinners with Roy Hodgson and Gareth Southgate. Lampard enjoyed an hour picking the brains of Guardiola during a visit to Manchester City, for whom he played in the twilight of his career, and also studied Thomas Frank’s work at Brentford“

I’m worried that our new manager might not have spent an hour picking the brains of Guardiola.

Top’s probably directing the ‘announce video’ seeing as the club’s media team are so creatively incompetent vs other clubs.

It’s gonna be a ****ing masterpiece.

Who also was part of Pellegrini's backroom team at West Ham?
