I really hope that a journo has the balls to ask Ruud directly about what is going on in today's press conference. There isn't much to lose is there....its not like the club engages with the press or media!

You underestimate just how much the club spends on NDA’s. Enzo leaking stuff to Ballague last year was the closest we’ll ever get to direct criticism and that was only because Enzo was in a position of strength.

Can't blame the guy if he walks (although you don't often hear of manager's resigning these days)

I'm sure he came he with the personal objective of increasing his reputation as a PL manager and currently he's doing the opposite (although not his fault).

I agree, however, I think his name alone would get him a job back in Holland (or similar) and clubs here would take into account the mitigating circumstances. Wouldn’t surprise me if he walked as can easily blame the last couple of months on injuries and lack of signings

I wouldn't blame him if he walks.

Been served one heck of a bad hand with injuries and poor performances across the pitch.

The lack of financial backing when he needs it most may well be a last straw. Any prospective clubs will happily take him on and overlook the circumstances which were already in motion before his appointment.

With 8 days left of the window we’re trying to sell Cannon and also getting Hamza out on loan. It’s clear we won’t bring anyone in until they’re out. Being dragged out by the looks of it for the fan base and RVN to be told that with limited time of the window left we didn’t have enough time to bring anyone who’d improve the starting 11 other than the loan of a fifth choice youth player of relegation rival.

Free beer and donut incoming for the arsenal game to quell the fanbase.

And I'll take that donut, the smear it all over Rudkin's windscreen.

Sorry Ruud, we're skint (or hamstrung by PSR) blew it all on Steve Cooper's signings this summer. Oh the bloated squad full of average players need their big wages. Yeah i know it's not ideal but you're the manager not the DOF, so can you keep quiet and just work with what you've got? Cheers, Rudkin

The players didn't fancy Cooper that was clear. His team selections were woeful. Tactics non existent. Subs less than non existent.

Yet, despite all that, we turned in decent performances in patches most weeks.

Spurs second half. Fulham we were a bit meek but far from woeful..Palace we were easily the better side til they scored that offside goal. Ipswich for the first and last 15 minutes was our best football. Southampton caved in under our pressure. Everton about par. Bournemouth we got away with murder. Villa we were decent but over respectful. Forest first half we were very decent.

Only against Man U were we as terrible as we have been in almost every game under the Dutchman.

Ipswich and Southampton games were going 1 way till both got a red card. Ipswich were completely in control until they missed a sitter and then  Phillips got sent off about 30 seconds later.

Spurs could have scored 3 goals in the 2nd half before we decided to take part in the game for 20 minutes.

Let's wait until after source more reputable than The Sun covers this. Percy is due a story on us surely.

The Sun / Mail etc etc don't just make stories out of thin air. They'll use mildly unreliable sources themselves compared to a telegraph etc but broadly ... Everyone has the same sources.

Tabloids tend to go quicker to release things. There's no smoke without fire.

As per many media reports Ruud van Nistelrooy is close to resigning from Leicester. Feels he was promised serious signings in Jan window which have not happened #lcfc

If he walks won't be bothered, he's not the man for this particular half season, that was Moyes and we missed that boat, though would settle for Dyche in till the end of the season, that side needs some backside kicking big time.

But most importantly it will bring to the wider audience what a farce, mess and comedy show it is at the KP, and Top will be exposed along with the muppet Rudkin, and just out of interest what is Martin Glover doing/does???  That might be outed too.

Come on now lad, let's not kid ourselves eh?

The tabloids post more BS stories than the broadsheets, but they also get far more genuine scoops. As Eskay says, it's because they tend to go earlier with stuff they've heard. The problem is, there's no way of telling a BS story from a scoop when they're first published...

I think he's got every right to be annoyed that we're not proactive in the market. But to me this is Ruud trying to deflect blame for the last 6 weeks.

Ultimately not many managers will survive 7 defeats on the trot. He will know that.

Just as he will have known that we're constantly walking the tight rope of PSR and that the squad is pitiful before taking the job.
