It is just a matter of time before he leaves I think (most likely at the season's end now to avoid larger pay off). People have said if they were ever going to sack him he'd be long gone by now but on the other hand if they were going to retain him for next season's Championship slogfest then they'd have probably already said as much quite some time ago also.  I would eat my hat (and the rest...!) if he was still here next season.

It's not possible to label him the worst manager we've ever had since he hasn't had any say in the players coming in.  That's down to Cooper.

 

Cooper is the worst manager we've ever had imo and if was still here, he'd be the worst by a comfortable margin.
