I mean if nothing else, today may end up being a monumental day in our history if it's the straw that breaks the camels back and gets a P45 into Rudkin's inbox.

Probably got told to set up the team to be more ambitious.

You reckon 5 at the back and 2 defensive mids is more ambitious then? Or d'you think he got the wrong end of the stick?

The game is more than on paper formations.  We often left ourselves exposed at the back.  Easily the most ambitious in terms of forward players with possession this season.

We conceded 2 goals during spells of when we had the ball for a period, they took advantage of us drifting players forward.

We just seem to have absolutely no standards, no leadership, nobody cares. Watching Ndidi and Soumare today every time Brentford broke through our pitifully weak midfield they were more often than not jogging back.
First priority in January for me is to sign some nasty bastard player who is willing to lead this lot, we need to rebuild this squad in Summer with STANDARDS. If you can't follow the standards you're out. Blood sweat and tears for the badge.
If you are jogging on the pitch you'll never play again. Where are the Roy Keane/Vieira/Adams/Keown leaders anymore? Absolutely spineless bunch. I wouldn't care if any of them left really. A couple i'd be a bit nostalgic over, but the vast majority can go and rot in the Championship for all I care.

What twats?  The owners who we won the league with?

The manager who won it left because it wasn't working. Why should these people live off it forever?

The one positive is we had so many of our better players sat on the bench or due back from injury in next few weeks. The team selection was madness and has been a common theme since that goon Cooper came in and has been carried on by his clueless pals who have been adamant not to pick our strongest line up.  Baffling and hopefully with a semi competent manager and coaching staff we will see a massive improvement without implementing major surgery and just applying a bit of common sense.

In January we need to either sell or release the following.

Justin

Faes

Coady

Ndidi

Soumare

Skipp

We need to sign atleast 14 players in January if we want to stay in this division

Genuinely fail to see how they've had a good weeks training if that was the outcome

The guy went too radical, one week and pick and play that suit.  What was he thinking.

Bang on.

When the teams were announced it seemed like we were going to be playing defensively and try to hit the opposition on the break, but in reality, we tried to play Ruben Amorim's 3-4-3 system with players like Wout Faes, Luke Thomas, Bouba Soumare and Jordan Ayew, and it ended up working out about as effectively as you would expect.

So midweek I mused saying the players needing spoon-feeding, they apparently weren't happy Cooper wasn't being clear thus my reasoning of spoon-feeding.

I got pulled up on it and rightly so, I get a manager needs to outline a clear plan, I was being facetious, but today outlines ultimately what I meant, they're professional ****ing footballers, they should do the simple basics without having to be told, they're not.

Good training week? Is this lad mental? Does he have any connection to reality or he needs to be locked up in an asylum? What defines a good training week? Did he arrange a mid week game vs Brentford and we won 5-1?

He's so out of touch it's infuriating.
