I know he came highly regarded, but whats with this whole 'barry' sh1t. No one on 80k a week is gonna put a shift in for Brian and Barry. Drain the swamp.

As bad as RvN is it shouldn't go unnoticed that we got even worse after this bloke turned up.

Yeah but he's "highly rated".

Ex Forest pair …….

If they're as good as the ex Forest pair that won us two league cups then I'm sure we'll be happy....

it was a bit sarcastic given we were blamed that Cooper didn’t work out due to his Forest connections

We should just go next season without any managers or coaches that should sort out any issues with PSR. Players can vote tactics in a group chat

No change from last season then

What now for RVN? I doubt he cares. Just waiting for the pay off.

The fact that his backroom staff are being taken apart surely points to a clean sweep and a new manager bringing in his own staff.

I think it is now quite evident we are waiting until July 1st to announce Ruud's departure; I'd expect compensation terms are already agreed and he is under NDA, hence the radio silence.

I would also imagine we'll be sounding out replacements, and I presume for a quick appointment it will be someone out of work and probably UK based. Doesn't leave many options other than Dyche/O'Neil or an outsider like Wagner.

It's a ridiculous way to operate but we are clearly shit scared of PSR.

I can't believe anyone thought he was going to say.

Can't understand such importance being attached to a few points deducted under PSR.  It is much more important to concentrate on appointing the right manager.  An able manager who can extract the best from the squad can accrue many more points than a poor manager, surely more than enough to compensate for the PSR deduction;  and then for the following season you still have the good manager in charge instead of having to get rid of the bad one, with all the upset that entails.

That's optimistic

RvN wasn’t backed with his own coaching staff or players initially, so why not get rid of the ones he did bring in (I know Barry wasn’t his)? We’re a ****ing joke and just need to completely reset all over the club - and I mean everywhere.

We are ran awfully but credit where it is due, turning a profit on a coach we hired less than a year ago is good business… more of that and we might crawl out of this hole we’ve trapped ourselves in

If and it is a big if, the club are genuinely holding off until the 1st July to sack Ruud then given BBM is leaving, then they have to have the new management team in place ready to go from the 1st as well otherwise the start of pre season and possibly even the 1st couple of pre season games could be under a very small coaching team of Andy King and Andy Hughes, supported by academy staff.

You would like to think there has been strategic planning, everything is lined up and ready to go …..but would you really be surprised if they didn’t, we keep RVN and either bring in some new coaches or promote Kingy?

In a ideal world, Andy King would be our savior.

But we have seen no evidence yet.

Feel like he is just a nice guy to have around.

As for Bazza and Jelly belly possibly leaving suggests they are looking after their own immediate futures as they know something (without us actually 2nd guessing what's around the corner 🤔🤪)

Oh how I wish we were just a boring normal club with more wins than defeats

Players wanting to play and perform and it mean something.

Apologies for going off topic 🤪

I doubt we will be keeping RVN now BBM is close to agreeing a deal with Cardiff.

We must have someone lined up who has his own staff imagine it will be Dyche or Rohl.

I do completely understand the speculation on RVN “waiting for a payoff” but I think that’s also being very harsh to him. In my opinion it became clear he wanted to stay on providing he got clarity over the clubs vision and whether it aligned with him.

For as many mistakes as he made, I think it’s harsh to just baselessly claim he doesn’t want to be here and he’s just using the club for a payday, I think it’s a bit of a leap to judge his character like that without any real evidence.

Maybe he is, but I’ve no evidence to suggest that.

He also has every right to his pay off if his contract says so.
