Hasn't played a single game this season so you would think he would take a few weeks to get properly match fit

 

Article suggests he would want a decent sized wage similar to what he is on at Marseille (£80k) and with him already being 30...

 

Sounds like a perfect opportunity for classic Leicester to give him a 3-4 year contract on massive wages

Seems more like he played right back rather than centre back, but he might also have been used as the RCB in a 325 shape.

 

 

Age an issue, but if it's a short term deal, maybe it's not a bad option? Has played for Newcastle, Porto and Marselle in the past.

Club forcing a 30 yr old player out due to high wages and we're chomping at the bit to sign them....

 

I genuinely wish there was another club with a DoF as incompetent as John Rudkin as they would be signing all our dead wood off us.

We'll remain the mess we are whilst we keep signing players offered to us by agents looking for a last payday for their over the hill player, far too many this summer were these type of deals

Not the type of signing to get enamoured by, but in all fairness to him, he’s been pretty decent for Marseille at times, I saw him produce plenty of solid enough performances for them last season. 
 

As for this season, he ended up getting suspended in pre season for a training ground incident, and De Zerbi has pretty much froze him out ever since.
