Is that common sense speaking or has there been publicised acceptance of this ??  Everton’s first sanction was 10 points

57 minutes ago, The Doctor said:

that's why evertons appeal was successful in reducing the sanction to 6 points iirc

55 minutes ago, Bert said:

Which was reduced on appeal with their mitigation being that you only get -9 for going into administration.

As it stands now I don't see it making any difference 2,6 or 8pts. We won't recover from it unless we have a mega transfer window.

Our current squad has no fight or backbone. As it's the Jan window we only escape by spending money we don't have or put ourselves in this position again.

I’d worry when Percy comes out and says it’s happening. As mentioned all of the specialists predicting it’s us are making educated guesses.

And yet the silence on this issue from the journalists who actually follow Leicester is becoming a little.....deafening. The club will of course be fully aware that it is being claimed in the national media that we are in breach again, as will the likes of Owynn Palmer-Atkin, Jordan Blackwell, John Percy, Rob Tanner, Rob Dorsett, Jason Bourne, etc. Any false rumour that we're in trouble with PSR could seriously damage us in the transfer market, so you'd think the club would get on the phone to one of these friendly journos to put the record straight as soon as possible. But none of them (as far as I can tell) are talking about it publicly. It's just a little odd.

Borson lost all credibility when he misleadingly said he had no idea why Man United got the COVID payment they did. Tried to take some attention away from his Manchester City by deliberately misleading everyone.

I'm okay with misinformation if there's been a genuine error, but to pretend it was some back hander given to them by the Premier League was so poor from him. His bias crosses a line and is probably perfect for Talksport, but no credible channel should have him on.

Why did Utd get £40m coving allowance whilst most clubs got £1m? Or so i read

Literally this, they were spot on, we just had a lawyer good enough to pull us out of the shit.

Writing off the likes of Maguire and co is naivety. Burying your heads in the sand.

Better hope that it’s someone else, or if it is us that De Marco has another MOTM performance in him.

I'm not sure anyone is saying they are wrong, because the simple fact is none of us know. But the fact is they don't know either; it's guesswork, and they purposely use certain non-committal language.

Or is he more clued up than the so called “experts” as he has links close to the club.

Even less reason to trust him for me cause he'll peddle what the club want him to peddle.

Would love to sack it all off and follow a non league side but it feels unescapable. I'd be kidding myself saying I don't care anymore

All I know is this isn't the football I grew up loving

Come to St Albans mate

chicken george with chips and a drink for a tenner and then watch the game with a beer.

you can check we’re losing on your phone

and St Albans are also going down this season so it’s not too much of a difference 😄

And there was no suggestion of anything else. I was merely saying that it's probably where Maguire's gets the club is confident line.

There's a YouTube series I watch which is like a fly on the wall thing about Dorking Wanderers so it would probably be them. Or King's Lynn as I live 5 minutes away from their ground. Although they're as expensive to watch as Leicester are lol

We're clearly a shambles nowadays. It's spiralled out of control and Top is not the man to build it back.

I don't think any of us fully understand how bad things are behind the scenes just the headlines.

Ruud regardless of efforts between now and May clearly won't want to hang around.

Bourne openly criticises the club.

he would report on it if he had heard anything.

If we're that close to the wire, we're not going to be doing any deals anyway.

If we're not, if we turn up waving fifteen million at some club trying to buy their footballer, I don't the relevant agents and players are going to be that alarmed.

Struggling to comply with completely arbitrary rules designed to make sure "we don't have too many Leicester Citys" is not the same as struggling financially.

Doesn't matter how much money Top or the club has if you aren't allowed to spend it.

I meant in general, as some were concerned about the financial state of the club.

Most business this month will be overseas loans so I'm not so sure any false rumours will have much impact.

I'm off to watch Harborough Town, lived there all my life until moving to Lutterworth 5 years ago. The football team was crap for donkeys years (could be Leicester but is Harborough) considering the size of the town, until several teams merged, now look at them WOW! See you all in 4 or 5 years as they pass LCFC on their way up.

Isn't part of the issue that even if the club thinks it's passed, it doesn't really matter, because the whole system is so interpretive and so if the PL thinks we've breached, then that's what matters. And we won't know that until next week?

This PSR Red Cartel protection shit needs fooking off, complete load of arsewipe.

Look whos at the top, the red cartel,  yank controlled. Its no small surprise.

The whole PSR thin needs binning off unless the smaller clubs are given some billions in compensation from the times where the red cartel could spend without rules. Its not a level playing field, this isnt helping it.

There is a serious danger the gap between the Premier League and Championship is so big no team ever stops up again. Its a load of shit, I'm fast becoming disillusioned with this crap and hope it eats itself.

Well we'd best hope we've got a couple of cracking overseas loans lined up because I have a feeling we'll need 5-6 more points to survive than we thought...

Obviously I don't know any more than anybody else, but it won't surprise me at all if we find out on Monday we've been charged with breaching PSR. If so I've n doubt we will exhaust every legal avenue available to challenge it, but the possibility remains that we will get a deduction this season. If so, we'll likely need to accumulate 40+ points to survive - doable, but only if Ruud turns things around. Quickly.
