It's like that time when we were desperate for a winger and ended up loaning Albrighton to West Brom instead.

Oh, jeez. I had blocked that out of memory. Pure insanity.

Always liked Hamza, always willing to throw his body into a challenge. I would be sad to see him go

Don't worry, no doubt he will be back after Shef United have released he isn't up to standard.

He's a lower Championship level squad player.

May as well give him another contract since that's precisely where we'll be next season.

Blades fans seem excited at the prospect.

In case any of you are reading this, we're all devastated he's leaving.

They all remember that game in 2019. Which was comfortably his best game for us, the optimism for how good he could be was set that day for me.  (Also that was barnes first goal and what a rocket it was)

It’s only a loan, he’ll be back starting for us in the champ next season

He's no RB.

Does one run past a Man City full back and people think he's Cafu.

Agreed. He was massively suspect for that 2nd goal vs Man City the other day and I remember him being very iffy last season in a few games he played the inverted full back role.

I like him as a Championship player but he's not a PL standard right back by any stretch.

Regardless of whether he’s good enough, surely we wouldn’t let someone leave without someone lined up to come in…. Especially in a position we’re struggling in….. surely…..?!?

Chodury having absolutely no awareness of what's happening unless it's in front of him, leaving all the time in the world to cross it in. Coady about 5 yards behind the rest of the defence playing Haaland onside. It was a masterclass in terrible defending.

If hamza is the answer I don't know what the question is..........

The question should’ve been.

Q. Which player have we already got that would allow us to take Justin out of the 1st team?

A. Hamza

Hamza is sadly not a premier league player, I've not seen anything bar one good game to suggest otherwise, quite why he's on so much money is beyond me.

He does put effort in at times and has pulled off some impressive last ditch tackles. But his positioning and awareness/reading of the game is generally poor. Then the off pitch crap...hmmm

Definitely not the answer to our RB problems, I'd be happy if he was sold on.

It is a shame he hasn't developed as it looked like he might.

There have been loads of toxic posts about Hamza and now some are in a meltdown of dismay that he might leave.

I think long term, rb might be his best position.   Right now, he isn't going to do anything to save us.  He hasn't been first choice for any manager and we've had a few.

If he goes, I hope he does well at his next club.   If he stays, I hope he suddenly becomes world class.
