Clever Fox Posted 7 January Posted 7 January Hopefully it's true for his career as much as our survival.
Popular Post kingcarr21 Posted 7 January Popular Post Posted 7 January Always liked Hamza, always willing to throw his body into a challenge. I would be sad to see him go 5

Spudulike Posted 7 January Posted 7 January He basically saved us a vital 3pts against WBA last season. 1
RoboFox Posted 7 January Posted 7 January He's a lower Championship level squad player. May as well give him another contract since that's precisely where we'll be next season.
coolhandfox Posted 7 January Posted 7 January If hamza is the answer I don't know what the question is.......... 2

In case any of you are reading this, we're all devastated he's leaving. They all remember that game in 2019. Which was comfortably his best game for us, the optimism for how good he could be was set that day for me. (Also that was barnes first goal and what a rocket it was) 1

Popular Post Levi Port Posted 7 January Popular Post Posted 7 January Plays with his heart, saved us in a few key games last season when called upon, doesn't get injured and is local boy and well liked at the club. Don't get why so may people just like to slag him off as he’s one of us. Sad to see him go but he’s not good enough with the ball for our level now 7
Popular Post Tuna Posted 7 January Popular Post Posted 7 January We should be more proud of a player with Asian heritage from the city/area who has come through the ranks and become a regular first teamer. 5
Ryy Posted 7 January Posted 7 January It’s only a loan, he’ll be back starting for us in the champ next season
Skidmark Posted 7 January Posted 7 January He's no RB. Does one run past a Man City full back and people think he's Cafu. 3

He was massively suspect for that 2nd goal vs Man City the other day and I remember him being very iffy last season in a few games he played the inverted full back role. I like him as a Championship player but he's not a PL standard right back by any stretch. 2
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 7 January Posted 7 January Regardless of whether he’s good enough, surely we wouldn’t let someone leave without someone lined up to come in…. Especially in a position we’re struggling in….. surely…..?!?

Even if he's dog muck..? I couldn't give a monkeys if he's the first City player from Mars if he's not a good enough footballer. Not sure what his heritage has got to do with the price of milk, he's proven to be not good enough alongside some rather questionable off field shenanigans as well as a far greater than warranted drain on resources in terms of wages. None of these things are absolved because he's Bangladeshi and lives in Leicester i'm afraid. 6

Chodury having absolutely no awareness of what's happening unless it's in front of him, leaving all the time in the world to cross it in. Coady about 5 yards behind the rest of the defence playing Haaland onside. It was a masterclass in terrible defending. 1

jimmer Posted 7 January Posted 7 January Hamza is sadly not a premier league player, I've not seen anything bar one good game to suggest otherwise, quite why he's on so much money is beyond me. He does put effort in at times and has pulled off some impressive last ditch tackles. But his positioning and awareness/reading of the game is generally poor. Then the off pitch crap...hmmm Definitely not the answer to our RB problems, I'd be happy if he was sold on. 1
majaco Posted 7 January Posted 7 January It is a shame he hasn't developed as it looked like he might. There have been loads of toxic posts about Hamza and now some are in a meltdown of dismay that he might leave. I think long term, rb might be his best position. Right now, he isn't going to do anything to save us. He hasn't been first choice for any manager and we've had a few. If he goes, I hope he does well at his next club. If he stays, I hope he suddenly becomes world class.
