Very tight at the bottom of Serie A, after years in the wilderness they can't afford to risk going down again. They're investing in young talent but they need it to work.

Quite surprised there isnt more noise around Faes. He was keen to leave in the summer and is third choice now - it be great for all parties if he did move on.

Naaah he's the sort of player that clubs get hoodwinked they can iron out the mistakes and then they've got a major asset on their hands.

Surely not even worth entering outgoing negotiations with a italian club, they are not going to have the money to break even on our psr books unless the right back money is coming straight back to us for a season long loan.

I imagine Okoli perhaps just hasn't settled along with not being in Ruud's plans. All the rumours suggest a direct sale, you don't do that unless someone really doesn't want to be away from home anymore.

I'd only sell Okoli if two things occur, 1) we get a fee above or equal to what we paid and 2) he's not settled and wants to go back to Italy.

 

Faes is the defender we should be trying to sell and possibly Coady if anyone would be interested but I'd probably look to move him on in the summer rather than now.

Just a hunch but have a feeling it may be he's not settled, coupled with not being in RVN plans.

Seems inevitable that one of Okoli or Faes will go in this window, with a new LCB/LB coming in. 
 

Thoroughly expect a defensive revamp to start this month, then continuing into the summer with Faes and maybe Coady then departing, while Nelson comes back into the mix.

For me, I think the same but would include vesty aswell. If we could replace the back 4 I would.
