splinterdream Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 Strikers are expensive, so £12m is a punt, I would stay hazard a guess he wouldn't start over the goat though
dbtcity Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Not the big powerful striker who can hold up play/create something out of nothing we were hoping for… looks like a Daka clone to me 🤷🏼♂️
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Wasn’t it Nixon that broke the Ayew signing when we all said it was garbage?
Vindaloo FOX Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 **** my boro mate told me he felt this might happen just yesterday. I laughed it off but here we are.
Sankey93 Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 It’s a yes from me, wanted him in the summer it’s a sensible signing as he’s got a point to prove in the top league and he’s also likely we go down this season so we would have a top striker for the championship next season.
Lambert09 Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Nixon was the one who kept saying ayew was coming, he also called cooper and said very early on that cooper demanded prem experience which turned out to be true. Hopefully he’s right but I think 12m is a starting price and they will push north of 20 as they rejected a similar number in the summer
Vindaloo FOX Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 12 million for Championship Ulloa worked. Let's hope for the same again.
kingfox Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Boro fans adamant this isn’t happening unless it’s £20+ million or we add someone like Cannon as part of the deal.
honeybradger Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 (edited) Looks good enough. Hopefully we stick to the £12mil valuation and dont get bullied into paying £20mil+. ( I dont think he's worth any more than that first bid) Edited 3 January 2025 by honeybradger
em9999 Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 12 mil I would think with add ons to sweeten the deal Hope this is true 👍 I like him and he's excatly the kind of striker needed

fox_favourite Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 This has to be complete flobble. It's too much of a sensible signing?! For now, talent and price.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Fits the bill of a (very) quick forward player on the counter. Something we are missing since Fatawu got injured. Also a decent signing for a promotion push for next season if it comes to that.
AyewJoking Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 spit my milky coffee out when i saw this...Rudkins having a lath

StonyFox Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 He's been linked to West ham and Ipswich already, feels like an agent trying to get them to speed up
jonthefox Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Must be happening. It’s in the Leicester mocha -ry
Lambert09 Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Some suggesting they wanted iversen. Would be about time we used some of our deadwood to get a deal done
Pliskin Posted 3 January 2025 Posted 3 January 2025 Hmmmm, something about this just doesn’t fill me with confidence. I’ve not seen a massive amount of him, is he able to make the step up?
