Mads on 10k and ward on 40 tells you everything you need to know about this club.

It tells you what a great signing Mads was.

Pure speculation on my part but if that’s true, and his wages are true, I recon we might be tempted to sell soon if we get a half decent offer.

Yeah we have a decision to make this coming summer over him, as going into his final year, you either sign him up or sell. All depends on which league we’re in. I’d want him here in both

If you want the more accurate figures just get Football Manager. Not all bang on but the closest out there.

Justin is on almost triple 30K p/w.

There is absolutely no way we renewed Vardy’s contract last year for one year at £140k he was on that previously on longer contracts but as he was getting older and we got relegated I’m sure that figure went out the window

Why don't we get them on performance bonus contracts. i.e you dont play like a complete waste of space and win, and score etc we will top the wages up, success rewarded. Its no wonder a lot of players cant be arsed.

Because there is a market out there and if you want to compete there are baselines for being able to sign players. Unfortunately, the bigger clubs will pretty pay anything for PL players and this means the rest of us have to compete to some level. High wages and locked in contracts aren't a problem unique to us. Just look at what Man Utd pay for their squad if you want to feel incredibly sick.

Moving forward, we do need to be smarter with players like Daka or Soumare who had no Premier League credentials but commanded wages as if they were established PL players. If you look at more recent signings, we are bang on right with the salaries for Bilal and Victor, but if we try and sign talent from existing PL clubs its likely they will already be commanding high salaries.

Souttar never played a game but on 40k a week lol and Hamza 50k lol no wonder we are in the shit

Yeah but it’s PSR’s fault we are no longer competitive, the rules are crap but bloody hell we have made some hellishly poor decisions along the way as well.

Is it not the case with Fats that we got him on a loan with obligation to buy? And the contract would have been agreed before he played a game for us in the championship? I’m sure 10k is well off but doubt it’d be as much as some of the absolute guff we dish out like on hamza and skip.

The next 18 months is going to be a really transformative period for the club, with 13 players out of contract, costing 700k/week in wages. Let's hope Rudkin doesn't fuch this up. :fc:

This is where the rules need to change. PSR is a complete joke, the fact is average players shouldn't be on high salaries with no performance, it also allows the big six to over pay wages to stockpile players. This is the reason why clubs get into trouble.

It should be something like 10k salary plus 10k per goal or whatever, 10k clean sheets, 10k assists. I bet then you see a lot less disinterested players knocking around.

PSR is trying to fix the result of the problem not the cause. Docking points from bottom clubs because they have had to pay hideous wages to average players it the wrong solution. I know we have a choice to pay those wages but as you say a market has been created.

Okay, I see this get asked a lot, largely in conjunction to our PSR situation.

Capology is a website that provides salary information for the football.

Is it 100% accurate on salaries  - no.

Is it largely in the ball park - :punk::dunno:

However, the expiry dates will be correct.

It not, a lot is guess work by the individual who collect responsible for the different clubs

I know someone who's family member works for the company.

There is some inside knowledge at times, but it is mostly guesswork, based on media reports and anything that’s exposed via accounts.

Will be very surprised if Ward doesn't get moved on this month.

Most likely a loan move would happen somewhere, given his reported wages.
