How do payments like this even go on the books? Pretty sure they’re not allowed officially so what’s the work around?

‘Come in mr Monga

we’re looking for someone to act as an advisor. your new business based in Abu Dhabi looks like it should be able to provide this - shall we say £2.5m?

oh and by the way, that boy of yours is an excellent footballer’

He doesn't even have to make th3 decision yet. Can't sign a pro deal with any club until 10th July 2026. Yes, he will benefit I'm sure from the moment he opts to leave us and go to a bigger club but it won't be to the magnitude of what he's in line for the year after.

He could wait to see what happens over the next year knowing he will play a large chunk of games in the Championship which he won't get a sniff in the PL for a year or two and that's being generous.

Completely agree.. depends who he has advising him I guess and what his opinions are of others careers that are starting after leaving us young like the other lad that's at Liverpool

Personally I think he'll go and with the shape of the club at the moment, I couldn't blame him. I'd always thought if I was good enough to be a pro I'd fancy myself as being a one club player here... but how it appears from the outside now.. I'd jump ship in a heartbeat

It doesn’t make sense to me why he is getting minutes when he’s going off to another club.

Surely we’d be better off giving minutes to Evans, Page etc.

Makes me think the club are pushing it so we get more from a tribunal

"Hello Mrs Monga,

King power welcomes you to it's Thailand family as a cultural ambassador.

As part of this highly influencial and important role you will require a free house on the Saff and a free match day pass to Leicester ladies. "

Can't see much difference myself
