Anytime Gabby Logan is on TV gets my seal of approval.

MILF of the highest order.

So true. Bloody BBC communist guidelines on coherence and knowledge denying Joey Barton & Wayne Brown the gig they were made for.

No blacks, gays lesbians, trisexuals(Is that a thing!?) in a wheelchair, anyone thinking they are an iron or a donut?

Disgraceful.

To be fair, that's 3 decent presenters, especially Kelly who is brill on bbc 5 live

Fantastic trio - have always been a fan of Logan. Thought it was ridiculous that rather than let her take the ITV number 1 gig post Lynam, they let her do it for two years and then bought Steve Rider from the BBC. She is great.

Chapman and Cates speak for themselves, but Logan I feel has always been underused.

As mentioned, those who were desperate for it to be Alex Scott to spew bile will be so, so disappointed today, though they'll probably claim it as some kind of "victory."

I can't see MOTD lasting that long tbh (i.e more than 10 years), it's easier than ever to watch the highlights. Plus so much discussion is around VAR/reffing that most analysis is just cursory crap.

It's more of a tradition really. I enjoy watching it but I'll be honest I record it Saturday then skip through the analysis Sunday morning.

I always thought it would be interesting if they record a second version where they don't have analysis and see what the ratings are like compared to the usual recording.

Gone are the days of waiting for football highlights at 10:30pm so for that reason I don't watch it.

Plus if I did I'd just nod off on the sofa these days anyway at that late hour!

3 presenters, never kicked a football professionally!

I think the best British sports presenters have all been non ex-pros. Lineker wasn't great in my opinion, I think you need to be a little more detached and impartial to be a really good presenter.

It's the sort of programme that gets a battering now but would be missed if they cancelled MOTD for some reason.

I hope not. Nothing like watching the highlights for the 15th time on MOTD after a win.

I’ve not watched MOTD since sometime early in 22/23 pretty much for that reason but I also watch less football generally.

A pure highlights show would probably pull in better ratings.

Love it, does the job, listen to the occasional interview, miss the managers you hate, listen to the punditry on the red card or offside, miss the rest, 7 mins per game, whats not to like.  Occasional bit of comedy, job done.

Kelly Somers, should have some involvement, she has done a couple recently and she is decent at it too.  Youth policy.

3 excellent presenters and hopeful of a fresh reboot of an institution!

Still something nice about watching MOTD, despite already seeing the goals on YouTube earlier!

Yeah Kelly, Gabby and Chappers are good choices. Rarely watch it though now, only when we have had a good result lol
