We all know its going to be 4 at the back and Ried and Ayew to start, Ried has done well recently though tbf but think we need to change the system

Once again i'm a bit dismayed by Ruuds in game changes, but, with that said after 7 losses in a row, to have a 3 game spell where we were the better side in 2 of them is a clear change in trajectory. I think Arsenal will bring us back down to earth with a massive crash next up, but ultimately if Ruud is still here and we haven't Röhlled the dice yet, we can only look at the trajectory. We played well all things considered and with the problems we have in both attack and defence and our play on the ball was much improved on the Everton performance.

I still really want to back Ruud and see what it would look like if we can get rid of the dead wood and bring in some young, hungry, cheaper players whilst offloading big earners like Ward. But still a long way to go for Ruud to prove he's the one who can do it for me.

It doesn’t work like that.

I’ve seen nothing to convince me that we aren’t getting battered in this game.

I want to back Ruud but his selections, substitutions and adherence to a system that is just not working are all massively frustrating, even if we do see the odd glimmer of hope in some games.

This will be what, our 9th loss in 10 games?

We really are woeful at the moment. We’ll be lucky to end the game with a single shot, let alone a shot on target.

He's dealing with the deck He's been handed. No backing in the window and shite summer deals.

How can you truly judge RvN when all he has is a pile of shite bar two or three and a passed it Vardy.

We will be out of it before the 30minute mark especially if its a high line with vesty.

Depends if the team has any pride after that or their spines collapse in which case it will be a cricket score.

0-6 or 7 mostly from the right flank and trio of faes brain farts.

Some debutant gets his first goal for arsenal

Then RVN has to go.

Hopefully this isn't the case but hard to be optimistic.

Something like the above. Use the Newcastle blue print of JJ going out and sitting on Rice. Press and duels need to be man for man. We've got nothing to lose.

They'll look to hit the wide areas and have recently offered nothing going through the middle. Then it's can we break and break well.

I’m not sure why he hasn’t tried a 352 yet. Theoretically it would improve where we’re weak - ie central defence and having 2 strikers on the field. Perhaps we’d have to sacrifice wingers, but they’ve been crap recently.

Actually, other than Daka do we even have another striker in the squad? 🤣

daka, vardy and Eduoard so you can see why we're not playing any 2 up top formation. Eduoard is clearly Elvis Hammond (Ankle) levels of shit so isn't involved and then the other option is something like Mavididi up front, which is giving the same energy as when Puel tried to make Demarai Grey a striker.

Get someone to man mark Odegaard follow him even to the toilet at halftime. Why don’t teams do that anymore?, remember Kamark on Janinio in the cup final way back? Excuse the spelling.

It would be nice to at least draw a game. It feels like we haven't for about 50 years.

Would prefer a win tbh

Mavididi is just lazy, we can't afford to carry a lazy arse.

Which is strange because his work rate last season was decent. Seems like another that's just in a huff because Enzo left. Shame really as this was his chance to break into the PL after a long road to get there and he hasn't taken it so far.

Yes forgot that that little experiment with Grey. I'm sure he tried it with Mahrez too at one point?

We needed to increase the intensiteeee.

To have Mahrez on the right wing again. Quiet all game then randomly in the 90th minute curl in a screamer from 40yards.
