What ****ing confidence......

Has today's game showed that we could be building with players coming back? James looked rusty but we're fighting and today's game should make us more confident for tuesday

10 games to go

In the last 10 games

We have got 4 points

WBA have 5 points

Oxford have 12 points

Blackburn have 11 points

Portsmouth have 12 points

You can see clearly which teams are fighting for it

2 teams clearly on the way down and we are likely one of them

Three of our four points were gained in the past four games under a new manager, and two of those points were gained against teams in the top three at the time. Your analysis conveniently ignores the fact that Rowett has undeniably made us a lot more resilient—we’d have lost all three of those games under Cifuentes. Whether he can build on that platform to improve our home form remains to be seen, but taking a 10-game perspective that includes the fag end of the Marti era and King’s ill-fated cameo is a little misleading.

It wasn't meant to be conveniently ignoring any difference that Rowett has made

In fact it was designed not to mention the manager and focus on the players who are responsible for the effort, form and momentum

It also didn't mention that we still have to play Sheffield Wednesday - who have 0 points from their last 10 games, so we should get a win there

Rowett has made us harder to beat, he is trying to organise our defence

We are playing like a team battling relegation and scored some good away points

But this is not enough, we need home form too

You blindly claim we would have lost all 3 games under Marti - in the 4 games Gary Rowett has scored 3 points, Marti got 10 in the return fixtures

Rowett has yet to see us a win in 4 games, Marti's worst run was 5 - so Gary has to win the next game to avoid matching it

In the final 6 games of the Marti reign we got 7 points, Rowett needs 4 points from the next 2 games just to match the form that got Marti sacked.

Whereas I appreciate my original post oversimplified things, we've still got a long way to go to suggest that Rowett can reverse the form

Imagine

Coventry

Millwall

Derby

going up, quite repulsive

The fact we’re below both Coventry and Derby should be enough to chase Top and Rudkin out of the KP with pitch forks.

Gonna say it but if we can't get the maximum 6 points from our next 2 matches we ain't staying up

QPR 3rd from bottom form guide.

If we don't take the next 2 games, the 3 draws are pointless (well, we got 3 points, but you know what i mean :) ).

Yep hadn't realised this.

Bristol City

Last 5 - 17th
Last 10 - 17th
Last 15 - 14th
Last 20 - 16th

QPR

Last 5 - 22nd
Last 10 - 19th
Last 15 - 18th
Last 20 - 14th

Two extremely presentable fixtures. These will really reveal where we end up.

Said it in another thread but on paper our fixtures are probably the kindest out of Us, Blackburn & West Brom.

Bristol City & QPR have gone totally off it. Swansea aren’t great away & Preston’s season is basically over.

By the time we play Millwall & Hull at home it might be that they’ve already confirmed their play off place.

This is of course me forcing myself to be positive. I don’t trust this mob at all.

Can't believe how well Wrexham have done and are right in there.

I keep thinking this. Yes they've spent again but they bought a very mid/low end Champ side. Perfect storm there I think.

I keep being shocked by Phil Parkinson but at the end of the day he's had success at 5 out of the 7 clubs he's managed, and counting his time at bat shit Sunderland feels harsh (40% win record to be fair).

Sheffield Wednesday to start league 1 -15 just seems wrong to me.

Where does it end? It makes absolutely zero sense to keep docking points so now they’ve got next to no chance of surviving in L1 either. There needs to be another way of punishing owners who take the piss out of clubs and force them into administration. Docking points hurts no one but the fans and the regular people working there who lose their jobs and are entirely innocent in it all. It’s madness!

I can’t see it on any ‘legitimate’ sources but also do think it will be true.

And what a farce. Who gains from this? It is just trying to put historic clubs out of business…..

Always remember though, the outcry about how it would be punishing the fans to dock points during super league gate….

If they don't get an owner and they pay £15m to the previous moron of an owner. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Can live with Cov going up if Forest go down, can't believe how well Wrexham have done and are right in there.

The difference between positive ownership and negative.

Whats going on a Wrexham is a great example of what positivity and momentum can do for a club. They messed up this summer it’s the first year their strategy has fallen on its arse but they are still pushing in the right direction.

There’s no world in which a club who signed coady and ward should be succeeding but here we are

Ipswich getting battered

Never really fussed about Ipswich but that gave me a chuckle after the moaning and whining on saturday.
