Pressure on us now but IF we manage to beat Stoke tomorrow, we’re back to the same standings today at 5pm with more confidence and belief going forwards 🦊

We can’t control what other teams do unless we play them,

Speaking of which: we’ve played the 4 teams around us all at home this season

1 W

1 D

2 L

I think those lacklustre/disgraceful performances under Marti combined with the last 3 weeks will cost us in the end

Scenes when you get your 6 points back and stay up by 5...

;)

Trouble is you cannot rely on anyone in this league to do a favour.

Sheffield Wednesday to lose each week yes but then cannot say much as we didn't!

It's between us and West Brom now.

We've just got to hope their gamble on an inexperienced soccer coach doesn't pay off and our safer bet does just enough. 🤞🍀🙏

We've been so lucky with the amount of other basket cases in the league this season and yet could still screw it up. 😩

Ok sorry English police. No I'm saying there is definitely no Nada not a chance in hell never in a million years chance. That enough negatives for ya?

Nope. To complete the set, can you add Rudkin's name?

They’ll lose this weekend… sack him and bring in an old familiar face… experienced in the championship… 3 wins out of 4 last time he was their caretaker…

This league is absolutely dogshit. If you’re telling me that Preston team is 8th then I’d say it’s more about our players application, mentality and conditioning than it is their ability.

The two options really are ****ing shit aren't they.

Relegation and financial oblivion.

Or survival, another year of Aiyawatt and Rudkin backslapping, which probably means a rerun of this season, and then relegation and financial oblivion.

We need them out. More than anything.

Awful league and we are getting relegated with the largest wage bill by a mile! And the DF still has his job 😂

I need a projectile vomit emoji... damn it

If you stay up at West Brom's expense that'd be fine with me ;)

I  think we'll be a disappointment as we're going down unfortunately. West Brom will win a game one week and we'll lose and that'll be that. With Middlesbrough, Ipswich and informative Norwich coming up, I'm not convinced we'll get out of this.

There's quite a few games left.

Portsmouth, Blackburn and Charlton are not safe.

Charlton are safe. 7 points ahead with 14 games to go. That's half a point a game.

Blackburn are safe. Northern Ireland boss O'Neil took over 2 games ago and they've won both. That's the difference a decent manager makes.

Portsmouth look safe. 4 points ahead and a game in hand. W2 D2 L2 in last 6.

Fair play to Blackburn, at least they are fighting. A gutting result for us though. Seems like our points deduction has coincided with those around us picking up, back to back wins for Blackburn and a big win for Portsmouth in the week.

Realistically, given form and/or points on the board, Blackburn upwards are all but out of sight to us. Portsmouth maybe still in it but it looks to be now between us and West Brom. And I fully expect them to get something from Coventry today as Oxford did.

Still 1/4 of the season to go.

A lot can happen in that time.

2 games ago it was us or Blackburn.

Now they’ve won two people are saying there safe?

Still a lot of water to go under the bridge.

We will be cast adrift soon. Blackburn winning WBA scrapping and keeping clean sheets, Pompey two games in hand, looks so bleak at the moment.

WBA have kept 3 clean sheets all season and Pompey have 1 game in hand not 2.

Apart from that you're right,  Blackburn did win last.

Bookies have us massive favourites now for the drop, would take a massive change in form and attitude now.

it’s definitely possible but Rowatt needs to hit the ground running with a result today

The difference is I'd back each of those teams against us even if we were level on points, let alone 4 to 7 points ahead as they are, whereas West Brom are the only other team genuinely as bad as us.

I have just looked at West Brom’s results and they have 7 clean sheets (more than double ours) so unsure where 3 has come from. Probably worth checking before correcting someone else

And 2 of those are in the last 3 games which shows recency in grinding them out.
