😂

Bet their fans don’t find it all very amusing anymore.

We’ll spy where we want, apparently not lads.

If spying is such a big deal you’d think they might put some fences up to prevent…. a ‘spy’ walking up to training and filming it.

Smacks off the EFL trying to bring clubs to heal after the mess of deductions being rushed out this season.

I agree. People saying it hardly matters because of endless youtube footage of matches are missing the points.

The margins at the top are so tight that spying on opposite would absolutely have made a difference.

You can’t say it hardly matters.

it’s not the point.

you can put a cup tied player on for 30 seconds when you’re 5-0 up and have him not touch the ball in a FA cup game. You’re getting slung out for doing it as you’ve broke a rule.

Also if it hardly matters why ****ing do it in the first place.

Probably give Oxford 3pts and some match royalties or something as it won’t make a difference to the league.

Apparently oxford beat them in the game they spied on. 🤣

Im sure i read the Boro manager stopped the squad going away so they could continue focusing on the final incase this happened.

Not sure if its true, or paper talk, but I remember reading it thinking haha you wish...

Turns out it was a great call.

it is true, theyve been training just incase of this decision

If they have admitted the charges then what are they hoping to get from appealing?

appealing the punishment as its too harsh, they feel just a points deduction is fair

id agree if they had just spied once.....but they did it 3 times(could be more we dont know)

as the saying goes, dont do the crime if you aint willing to do the time

I think we both agree, what I'm saying there are others that say it hardly matters and I'm saying the margins at the top are so slim that any advantage gained does matter.

I mean it’s pretty funny lol

If our club had been found doing that, I’d be pissed off for them causing controversy and giving a reason to be called out.

The fact their fans have been so arrogant about it does make it amusing.

So would the appeal be immediate because the final is in a few days.

A cynic might say they also admitted to doing it before a loss and a draw to prove they gained no material benefit and lessen the punishment. Bollocks did they suddenly stop between December and April.

Agree with that.  Seems they've volunteered (or maybe there's more to it) a couple of games but surely you have to assume they've done it whenever and wherever possible.

And this is why I’m happy to be out of the big leagues and into league one.

Where’s the sporting integrity? and to go along with that, Goalkeepers passing the ball out and whatever else we hate about modern football?

Not for me sorry

Not excusing them but I don't remember Leeds getting anything like this kind of backlash about doing it?

Is it because of how Bielsa is regarded in the football world?

How have they not got clear rules and punishments in place already instead of making things up as they go along. It's the most watched sport in the world if I'm not mistaken
