when_you're_smiling Posted 15 February Posted 15 February The worst thing is, it’s probably the best performance of the season. Definitely defensively. A low bar, I know. 1
RYM Posted 15 February Posted 15 February Never going to beat this lot, it just becomes a nightmare when you have to start picking up points from games like this. Zero points for trying hard unfortunately. 1

We've defended better but again have absolutely no threat up top. Yeah but that’s down to PSR and nothing to do with the continuous awful decisions leading to our issues with PSR 1

Genuinely think we could keep a clean sheet in about 50% of our remaining games, and we probably still wouldn't get enough points to stay up.
Livid Posted 15 February Posted 15 February No matter how organised we are, If we don’t lscore it’s just pointless (literally!) 1
Tazfox Posted 15 February Posted 15 February Just resign ourselves to the Championship. We can't score and we can't defend. 2

kingpower Posted 15 February Posted 15 February I feel like we either have to concentrate so hard on defending that we are powder puff going forwards or if we commit men forward then we are powder puff in defence. Just so poor 1

It’s alright putting in good performances against Man City and Arsenal but it’s the performances we put on against teams like Wolves and Everton that have relegated us 3

Gav_LCFC14 Posted 15 February Posted 15 February Here we see the outcome of shooting ourselves in the foot in January window. The most flacid attack in the league

Vardy is a tough one, he just doesn't seem to be making clinical decisions either. I watched back Ayews last moment where he flashed it across the box. Vardy just stands in a position where it's impossible to pass to him, he either needed to throw himself across the goal, or drop deeper into the box to get a pass, Ayew briefly looked up to vardy to wait to see what he would do before he flashed it across goal, and Vardy was at all times just moving himself into an unpassable position, and when the ball came in he was nowhere near it. I just don't understand why he's not stood in the path of the cross, even at his age it's just basic positionining that we've seen time and time again from him. 1

This. Baffles me people saying they haven't given up hope if we continue playing like this. Arsenal have probably been poor and we lose 2-0, we've got no chance no staying up.

RowlattsFox Posted 15 February Posted 15 February Bit harsh the crowd piling out today, but it does show the feeling in the club. End of the day, it's getting battered by Wolves and Everton which are going to send us down. 2
