Yeah they're so bad they've won the last 3? :-/

They were in London so it might as well have been at home and Southampton don't count since they are shite. Ergo guaranteed Leicester win.

IF we had 2 fullbacks that could get up and down the pitch I think without massively changing his formation he could go 433 with Buo and ELK behind Vardy, pack the mid with an extra body and force your opponents wide.  But I don't know if we have an LB that can do that.

Now get this! We swap Vardy out for Patson and we'll start a game with a younger front line than the opposition!

I think we get 3 points just for that don't we?

100% this

4-2-3-1 isn't going to keep us up. Probably nothing will but may as well role the dice and try something new.

I reckon it's worth trialling 5 at the back to see if it brings out the best in Coady and 3 in the middle to see what Skipp can offer.

5-3-1-1

As a fan base we need a moment or something to spark a bit of excitement. Some thing we can get behind.

Whether than be a lucky goal, a sending off,  a fast start to a game or even a young player being given a chance.

The players that are starting at the minute, vary rarely get you out of your seat, they are not players that change a game. (Vardy has been of course, Bilal has that potential)

The fans need a spark and I think the team does, just not sure where that comes from.

As inconsistent as he is I think we have to play Stephy. At least he can beat a man(sometimes)

Brentford H - Brentford are shite away. WIN!

West Ham A -Potter have gone one point in their last 4 matches WIN!

Chelsea A - We know how it goes with Enzo at this stage of the season WIN!

Man U H - They're shite WIN!

Man City A - Pep plays it safe against the most in form team in the league and scrapes a point DRAW!

Newcastle H - Players will still be hungover from a league cup win weeks before WIN!

Brighton A - We scored 2 past them at home when we never score WIN!

Liverpool H - They've probably won the league by this point and will play the reserves to focus on Europe WIN!

So going into our big final 5 games of the season we'll be on 39 points after 33 games.

I’ll buy you pints for the rest of the year if this happens 😂

VK is crap, however, he’s got a good engine on him, and can put half decent balls I to the box. I think he’s capable of being able to do that role. Woyo likewise seems to be able to do it too.

But I agree this formation would work, if we switched to a more transitional attack.

If we don't even score again I should hope van Nistelrooy is sacked by Saturday. Yes it looks shambolic changing managers twice in one season but not half as bad as going almost three months without even competing in a home game.

Pretty certain we'd be extending the goalless run for infinity with this line up.

We simply don't have the full backs/wing backs needed to play 5atb unfortunately

With successful 5 at the back systems, if they are going to be attacking it normally involves using wingers as wing backs, instead of regular full backs.

For example, in the great escape, Pearson tried it Vs Hull with no effect using De Laet (who was pretty attacking for a full back) and konchesky. To get it to work required a switch to Albrighton and Schlupp as wing backs.

Looking at our squad, I guess that means we would have to go for solid wingers with some pace - so maybe Bob (who's played the role before) or Macateer.

Facundo has to come in for Ried or Ayew if we want to try and score

Its odd though, because our best chances came from Ndidi (cross from Vik) and Ayew not long before Arsenal's first goal.

But i think Ndidi makes a huge difference to the defence do we now need to throw the dice up front more.

0-2 obviously. Law of averages should stop this but it won't - we're an awful team and these are steady. Wins at Palace and West Ham in their last two aways. This'll be a cakewalk.

That being said - I do wonder if a complete collapse is coming soon. I don't think these things can continue forever. I expect the 0-2 losses to probably become 4s and 5s fairly soon.
