Ranieri won the PL Shakespeare took us to a CL last 8 Puel helped build one of the best squads we have ever had. Rodgers had us consistently competing for the top 6 and won the FA Cup. Enzo achieved automatic promotion The season is the only stinker we have had with recruiting Cooper and RVN That is an interesting take. First of Ranieri, Shakey and Puel were appointed by Vichai so they can be scrubbed, the issue is what has happened under Top. Rodgers was a good appointment but it went stale after a couple of seasons and I think it's legitimate to say Top allowed a bad situation to fester to long. We then had Dean Smith who couldn't prevented us getting relegated. Maresca, another good appointment but they pee'd him off and/or he knew too much of the financials and we couldn't keep him. And then we had Cooper/RvM - which, whichever way you look at it has been a disaster. It's not just about a good appointment it's about recognising when they have reached their limits and/or keeping them happy. 3
moore_94 Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 Maybe we are hoping Rohl can break his contract or something at Sheff Wed? 2

LcFc_Smiv Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 The no active talks element being leaked because they can't approach Rohl until this clause kicks in around how much we would have to pay?

winteriscoming Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 Did Strasbourg get a European spot? I think they finished 7th.
SemperEadem Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 We joke about the polo and Rudkin looking after the stables but it really does look like that has taken priority.
winteriscoming Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 Strasbourg got Europa Conference football next season.

If he does well he could have a long tenure with us, if he doesn’t I don’t think his stock will take too much of a hit 1
Claudio Fannieri Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 also one to consider, whist Rosenior has signed a new contract that could include a release clause in the event an English club come calling.
CosbehFox Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 Think that's nonsense by Dorsett personally. Bloke is about as near as you can get to the club
Leicesterpool Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 Does make you think the board are waiting for Rohl to resign before sacking Ruud. Cuts out paying Sheffield Wednesday compensation fee.

kingpowerout Posted 30 May 2025 Posted 30 May 2025 I actually am starting to think that the delay is because Martin has turned us down in favour of Rangers and therefore we're now going after Rohl 1
